  5. Bought a Medieval Marketplace from CL. Seller was a fellow investor and AFOL with kids like me. Box was sealed and looked great. But this is for a build. After my eBay debacle earlier this week, glad to have this for only $10 more.

  8. I am not ashamed to admit that I watch that show with my 4 year old daughter. It really is well done. And how is it that no one mentioned Battlestar Galactica? It would be epic and has absolutly no chance of being done.

  11. I have found that it has more to do with individual stores than it does corporate policy. Yes the kids club works on Lego, but not on all of it. Some stores will do it, some won't. When the cashier and store manager say no on the coupon what can you do about it? Argue at the register? Turn them in to their superiors? If a store decides that they will not accept a coupon scream all you want but it ain't happening. Retail workers have enough crap to deal with without resellers or collectors raising hell about a coupon policy so they can get a lower cost basis. And honestly how many members on this site have used that coupon 5,10,20 or more times? That is why the policy is tightening up, constant abuse.

  12. Per BN.com the robie house is kids club eligible. Here is what you do, you go to the store, grab the cheapest toy them have- or an emerald express- take it along with the robie and have them scan/input the coupon. I guarantee you the discount will come off the robie set. Bam!!

  14. I have 3 lone ranger trains with the most recent one from target for $80, but I think $225 is over-optimistic for this set.

  16. Build it! 42009 is still around. Even if you'll have to pick one up at full MSRP you'd still get good CAGR out of it. But at $60 bucks you now have a great opportunity to build an ultimate 42009 mod . Mine was 300 on top of 200 for the original set. Once you build ultimate 42009 you'd be a TECHNIC fan forever.

  27. Nice armies! I'm not sure what I like more- stacks of sealed sets or large minifigure armies. Probably sets, but it's close. Here are some of my troops lined up for the Emperor's Christmas Arrival for a contest on Eurobricks a few years ago.

  31. I want a 3,000 pc Xavier's School for the Gifted, complete with Danger Room, X1 jet, dorms, and the library. And of course, at least 12 minifigs, including Professor X with a brick-built wheelchair. Short of that, an 800-1200 pc Danger Room with Charles and the five original X-Men would be neato.
