Nice armies! I'm not sure what I like more- stacks of sealed sets or large minifigure armies. Probably sets, but it's close.
Here are some of my troops lined up for the Emperor's Christmas Arrival for a contest on Eurobricks a few years ago.
Nice armies! I love seeing big army pics.
Not really into doing it myself, yet, maybe one day I'd like an LotR Orc army.
For now this is the closest I have with a tomahawk warrior collection. Was going to set up a little display with the 79111 set as some stage.
TRU-ebay apparently wasn't happy with all the neutral feedback I left regarding their poor packaging, so they sent me a 10% coupon off my next ebay purchase. My order (including tax):
2 x 9398 @ $164.16
2 x 6857 @ $30.69
2 x 79004 @ $32.11
2 x 21010 @ $159.88
1 x 4430 @ $42.79 (got this just to get me to the next $75 increment for another $20 off)

Yea, I'm not worried about it but so often people make posts about how could shipping cost so much because it only costs them xx.xx to ship wherever without considering that not everyone lives the same distance from the destination.
USE THE SITE BELOW for all you ebay and paypal fee calculations. It allows you to choose if you have a store, fixed price vs auction, TRS discount, etc..

I got 2 more VC and a Headhunter poly bag from TRU Ebay for 175.81 after tax. Got to love the $20 off EVERY $75 spent. Is this really the TRU we love to hate?....
Hello everyone. New member here. Just started collecting lego for fun a couple months ago. Discovered there are so many awesome sets, and realized I couldn't just keep on buying everything without funding my hobby from other means. So decided to look at investing in sets and sell them at profit, which led me to this awsome site.
Anyway, I'm trying to decide if I should go the the pirate ship ambush for 69.99 at TRU (after the $20 discount) or the Vampyre Castle for 89? From where I am (Central IL) the Vampyre Castle is harder to find. But the pirate ship seems to be a very good deal.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Yep. That is how it works currently. Younger people who like the prequels are probably in their Lego Dark Ages now and the original trilogy fans like me don't want anything to do with episodes 1-3 except for a few Darth Vader related sets. Hence, not much demand for prequel sets. I do believe there might be demand in another 10 years though

It wouldn't make sense to sell at a loss when they are still within the return period. If they don't sell then why not just return them to the lego store?
Im thinking it is hear at least to the end of the year.
It is a great set and pretty darn important to the Batman universe. I think there is a slight possibility this might turn into the live cave.
