I don't know why anyone is still posting in this thread. This post won the internet and made any incoming responses irrelevant.3 points

As the proud Mama of two girls, I am unoffended by pink bricks. I have a tomboy who dresses in black and gray and watches football with me. I have a princess who wears pink and peach and bakes with me. Both write, both draw, the princess is a better dog trainer and the tomboy is better at verbalizing her feelings. The princess is the better driver, the tomboy cries (a lot) when her favorite characters die in books and movies. My two year old nephew loves dancing, trains, and taking apart anything remotely mechanical. My frilly ballet dancing sister in law loves to get out a sledge hammer and do the demolition on her newest home improvement project herself. People are individuals. If Lego has found a market catering to people who like the Friends' line, good for them. The alternative is to ignore who people actually are instead of what this group or that group thinks they should be, and to me that's the actual sexism.1 point

Yep I suspect it is just clearing out old stock. It will disappear suddenly just like Wolverine.1 point

Exactly ninja...everyone who lowballs me on Ebay has a family or child that is just dying to build this set. It gets old.1 point

Nah he isn't listing it to sell, but to warn naive buyers. I just got an e-mail back from him saying that he bought 2 from the Lego shop, and that: "One to build, one for my 1-year old when he gets older. #noteveryoneisadirtbag Adam" For his 1-year old son when he's older - yeah yeah yeah. I.e. when he can make money from the second, he'll flip it like a mother-f* and let his soon drool on the first one he's built.1 point

Jeff will be updating prices whenever we get the data to try to keep it more up to date. The eBay Terapeak data is not always released in a consistent manner, so we are trying something new out, trying to keep it more "real time." Many times, the Terapeak people give us incomplete data. Jeff has to contact them and wait for them to supply us with the sales data. It's a long process and Jeff will try to streamline it after he finishes some other site upgrades.1 point

Anyone else wishing they would release a huge helicarrier set? That would be a really sweet looking ship next to my falcons and pirate ships1 point

Here is how I handle this. I clearly state in my eBay Shop that I will expect payments within 7 days. This information is also included (again) in the invoice. If the 7 days pass without any payment, I send the buyer a mail - asking if there are any problems with the payment. In 99% of the cases the buyers pay or at least apologize and explain their problem after that mail. If someone does not answer at all, I open a case. But you definetly need to get more positiv feedback to your account. Ever thought of selling a lot of small items (like Minifigs) to get more feedback!? Regards, Titus1 point

42009 In Jurgen's ultimate flavor you will not be dissapointed . I can't get enough of mine. Lego needs to get their butts in gear and start designing full RC sets.1 point

What are the chances they'll do a 3rd hulk maxi figure in another two years? Not likely. People won't be caught off guard on this one like they might have on 6868.1 point

Agree with all of that. Boldin made flacon that money. We have a chance next year a good one by default. The rest of the division will be in dismay as well and not better off than us. The marlins next to the capitals may have the most fairweather fans in all of sports. The marlins front office is such a joke.1 point

True, however anytime you hold down Brady like they did it deserves some credit. Not to mention the run game was pedestrian. Broncos have had their share of injuries too. One of, if not the best LTs in the league (Clady) , Von Miller, Chris Harris, Raheem Moore, Wolfe, etc. Its going to be a tough game for Denver, but hard to discredit anything they did today.1 point

The TRU website...that's my complaint. Its enough to make you mental. If you pay with paypal you cant enter your tru membership.....but why would I want to do that? because you will give me 5 dollar reward that will cancel out any other promotion making the 5 dollar thing worthless. Why cant I pick up a batcave at my local store...out of stock it says.....funny, cause you have about 50!!!!!!! why do I have to log in and remember more stuff, just send me a coupon to my email. fix your app too you jerks. keep making me mad and I'll list my whole brickfolio for sale on ebay for 5 dollars and have one of your dumb cashiers price match that. I'll buy every lego set you have for 5 bucks you watch.1 point

I wish Lego would create a 'major' US piece of history like a 3000+ elements White House, Mt Rushmore, Empire State Blg, Fenway Park or Wrigley (since old Yankee Stadium is gone), Niagara Falls (either country side), Independence Hall in Phila, etc..1 point

2x Emerald Express And 1 Doctor Who Tardis with Amy Pond and the 11th Doctor. Yes, it's a Character Building set, but they have the Docotr Who license and I really wanted a Tardis to show up in my Winter Village and Halloween Towns.1 point

A vintage Space set from the 1980s, specially a popular model like the Mobile Lab, can definitely pitch a high price but the range of buyers will be a lot more limited. You could probably boast having the only sealed set on eBay. Certianly don't be in rush to sell it for only $100. Go the BIN route and see how much interest you get. Show us some pics! I'd love to see it.1 point

The Simpsons House will be one of Lego's Top selling set of all time. 85% of the world no who the Simpons are, compared to 10% no what the 41999 Crawler set is. I would recomend buying one of these whenever you can, as I am shooting for 40 of these, should be a 2 year license. I no most guys on here say I will buy them when they are retiring, Well lets see how many guys used that strategy for the Fire Brigade in other words who missed the boat on the Brigade, looks like most auctions are ending between $239-259 and rising. If you have a $1000 to burn go get a Simpsons House, HH,GE,Batman Ayslym,10220 VW Camper etc, instead of coming out of Walmart,Kmart, etc with baskets full of cheap clearance stuff that most is not worth the money and will sit in a closet, under the bed or wherever, "Now if you are a flipper and no exactly what you are doing well thats great. If you can get them below $50, they will be a solid investment. I love chips too.1 point

I'm all up for them. The boxes themselves stand out even among the Friends sets and there is a ton of great colored parts to be had.1 point
