  1. Who's going to Mordor for this set Seriously though, I returned one of these to Target a couple weeks ago that I got for $95. I think I have 6-7 that I bought for ~$75 each and I am hoping to snag a couple from Walmart on clearance if possible. If not, I'm fine holding the ones I have for a while.

  3. Are we really having the Haunted House modular conversation again? This is almost as bad as seeing another bubble thread. The Haunted House is, well, a house but it is not a modular one. It does not use the technic pin system for connectivity, there is no sidewalk or back alley area, and the whole thing opens up like a storybook instead of having removable stacking floors. It does fit perfectly in appearance with the other modular type of sets but it does not utilize a modular design. There are certain requirements which make the modular house sets exactly that otherwise they would just be regular houses like any other one from Creator. If the Haunted House is a modular then so is the Family House here.

  5. So the general consensus is that exclusives are good because there are less of them, but now so many think it's a good thing when production increases on something else. People who buy it already know Technic exists, they don't need Walmart to let them know.

  6. My 8 year old son just started playing a Simpsons app game on the Kindle called The Simpson Tapped Out. He had no idea about Simpsons till this app game but he and all his buddies are playing it. He is asking me about the Kwik-E-Mart, who is this Sideshow Bob guy and what is with the old guy Burns...Making me feel real old.

  7. There could be. I think the re-release of Wolvie and magneto can slow down the booming growth of the 6866 set. With new versions of Wolverine, Hulk, Thor, Magneto, Batman, Joker, Riddler, etc....what the hell happened to the creativity with the Spiderman minifig?

  8. Well, once the dies and the whole interdimensional invasion f-tard begins, then what are you going to do ? :P With DS9 you have rather solid continuity, engaging storyline, and they show most of the space battles in the wars. At least go watch Babylon 5 and figure out why Sheldon(BBT) hates it so much

  10. My figures arrived this morning. Here's a pic of them in their packaging: Two of them came off the Lego piece holding them in place in the packet and were floating around, not surprising for the distance they had to travel. Have already opened them and put them in my lab

  11. Too obvious of a candidate for quick flipping, meaning I am staying away from it for now. However, if you have a stomach for making $30 on $200 investment or tons of expiring VIP points, then go for it.

  12. I hope so. There are 2 decades of people out there who would buy every single set to build their own Springfield.

  14. Batcaves, X-Wings, and Superman with Lex... I think all 3 are apparently going to be around at least 6 more months.

  15. Haha. Ban paranoia is rampant around these parts!

  16. I ordered 2. I would imagine that they probably only reserve a certain number for VIP members so that there is stock left to put on the shelves for the general public in February. That is when you will most likely see it sell out.

  17. So happy I got to order one (collector not an investor) - I was starting to think the US online store wasn't going to get it. Limit has gone down to 2 now btw (in US and Can).

  18. LEGO Shop at Home or Lego Store? I know they're available on LEGO Shop at Home but I was just wondering if they're already available in stores as well.

  20. I was in B&****** tonight and there were some sheets of paper temporary taped to the Lego displays. They are obviously for the workers to set up the displays and know where the sets go. I took some photos. Not sure if there is anything we can learn from this but I figured post them in case. Sorry for the quality of the photos. I was getting looks from the employees so I was trying to make it fast.

  23. The coupon code is 53992. Just search "Staples coupons" and there are a couple of sites which provide the different codes. That is currently the best coupon.
