  2. It's been a long time since we have uploaded a video of our lego city. This one features our Hogwarts Castle corner. Please check it out on youtube at < I have a MOC womping willow on the layout with the HP Ford Anglia in its grips. 64 sq foot lego city layout with over 60,000 bricks. 4. Just get a job with the federal government and you will no longer have to worry about moral dilemmas.

  6. Just finished the Dolphin Cruiser. Excellent, fun build. I can easily see why this sold so well this X-mas season. Highly recommended.

  8. I sold just over 20k worth, so a reasonable return. I am already planning my strategy for next Christmas.

  9. All three of the big carriers (FedEx, UPS, and USPS) employ convicted felons with anger management problems and savage chimpanzees who've been kicked out of respectable zoos, so as far as "minimal damage", there's no difference. On the other hand, once you learn how to pack items properly, the vast majority of your packages will get to the recipients just fine, in spite of the package handling employees' best efforts. Cost wise, I hear Fed Ex.

  12. Outstanding set. Should provide some solid gains down the line. I lucked out and got 31 at $12/each this past summer, so I am banking on making some good $ in a couple of years.

  13. I too think it`s a decent set. $25 MSRP up here, $20 MSRP in the US. Definitely worth it for what you get. Even given your market, I`d pick them up at that price. Certain to make some money down the line, and like you said, buy in is "cheapish"

  15. Rebuking part of the Yes, it is doable. Just need to make the opening of the mine larger for the train. I'll be doing the same with 9V as that is much easier than Power Functions, Here is a link to one example and I attached pics from the oerson's flicker page. '' target='_blank'>> I'll also find the other link with more details.

  16. Built the new Cinderella's Romantic Castle last night. Took a couple of hours w/ some distractions from my own little princess. A little on the small side, but it's got some nice playability for the little one, w/ several rooms, a secret key behind a bookcase, a dog house, some treasure and other little accessories. The figures aren't as bad in person as I thought they'd be. Next up, Dolphin Cruiser.

  17. The video idea gets floated a lot amongst eBay sellers, but scuttfarkas has it correct: it's pointless. I can show myself wrapping up my best pearl necklace, putting it in a box, and sticking a label on it, but there's nothing to say that as soon as the camera's off I don't unpack it again, put in a string of white beads, and ship that to the customer. Don't be scared of eBay. It's like selling anywhere else - you can protect yourself to a very significant amount using various eBay tools, obeying the rules, shipping with insurance if you're worried about the dollar amount or you get a "feeling" about the buyer, etc. You'll still occasionally get ripped off, but it'll be a very, very minor part of your business and EVERY business owner gets stuff stolen occasionally, regardless of where or how you sell.

  18. Anything with 4 digits model number are going to be gone most likely from the big box unless they expand the shelf space. There are still Olivia's House from the 4 digit model number wave available at Walmart and Amazon. It seem like this set is overlook because of the crowding out effect from the Dolphin Cruiser and the horse sets. Better snag those up quick before they are gone.

  20. I'll list out the steps. 1. Log in, click on the 'wanted tab' 2. In the lower tab section 3rd one in it's labeled 'part set'. click that 3. type in the set number of what you want parted out 4. type in a new wanted list name for it (you can uncheck the notify by email if you don't want to get spammed by a million different vendors) 5. click the box that says 'set minimum desired qty' 6. click submit for edit 7. Now you have the entire set parted out with the minimum required parts needed. You can delete and change quantities as desired/need.
