  1. Not me, I'm still rocking the Atari 2600.

  2. Why do we have a thread on this site warning about drop-shipping scams on ebay, yet when an obvious scam like this pops up, folks jump on board and order away---smh.

  3. If this account is hacked, once you buy the hacker will know your name, address, and Paypal account as well. Those are not things you want to share with a hacker. This is the real reason why I hesitate to buy.

  4. Just opened an online order box. Underneath the lego set were 2 coupons for 10$ GC with 40$ purchase. One good for November and one for December Almost missed it, be on the look out

  5. Just got my 10% back Holiday Rewards via email from TRU for purchases made between 9/8-10/31. Geez, I didn't think I bought so much stuff within that time period! Also, the email had "10% back" in quotation marks. I'm just going to assume that's bad copyediting and not TRU's funny math.

  7. Since Apr you've got almost 1800 posts. I certainly see the fact that you had hard time stopping. =P

  8. Same here, didn't work for me also. btw, finally there is something I like about TRU. I ended up getting an Unimog U400 using the 20% off regular priced item coupon plus 14 $10 gift cards I got from my Vampyre Castle purchases last week. I think out the door price for the Unimog is like $50.

  9. I live close to one of the FedEx hubs, so I can get late cutoffs.

  10. I guess I shouldn't be surprised but I can't believe anyone who frequents this site would think for a second that was a legitimate listing. I love how some can rationalize all sorts of ridiculous reasons why this is an actual deal. And posting it in the deals section?!

  11. To hold, I like the B-Wing and Jabba's Palace. Neither will be redone anytime soon. B-Wing has the UCS designation, while JP has some phenomenal minifigures, and a very isolated place among the SW lineup with no similarly sized remakes. It also has Jabba and some great minifigs, and Rancor Pit and Desert Skiff to partner with a couple years after EOL. Quick back of the napkin on a potential sale in 1-2 years: Purchase price JP - $81 RP - $41 DS - $18 Total - $140 Future Bundled Sale Price - $300 I think that's a realistic possibility for a future sale price for these, and frankly there's a good chance these go for more. Time will tell whether it hits this price or not, but we're still talking about a nice payoff at $300.

  13. Ah, gotcha. Yes, he may want to report to eBay too, and that will hopefully get it noticed faster. If by funny you mean dumb as a box of rocks, I am right there with you.

  14. Doesn't anyone who accepts Paypal get this information anyhow?? If this was something to be ultra concerned about, scammers would sell legitimate stuff, ship out, and then steal your information anyway.

  15. I imagine if someone is playing PS4 today, they're probably not browsing Brickpicker forums.

  16. I pre-ordered 2 from amazon arriving today and the wife and I picked up another 2 at the Best Buy midnight launch last night. Sold those already and will keep 1 of the 2 arriving today for myself to play.

  17. Check sold listings on Ebay. It already has upward momentum. Thats why I am so confident

  18. I wish I had one, but don't have enough time to play games to justify the price. Looks like you could make a quick $150 or so by selling it. I would be too tempted to see how awesome it is though.

  19. Just grabbed 3 more of these off Target.com using my red card. Bought them 1 at a time to make sure they are shipped nicely, and also get more boxes and packing materials. I used the affiliate link for Target too! So we all win!

  20. Totally agree - spending $34 is better than $70 to make the same amount. What is it you're flipping? Still, this is a Lego investing site and I think a 30%+ ROI in 5 days is something others may want to emulate. Feel free to try it yourself - it's fun!

  26. Who knows whether TRU will keep them around for another year or not, but this can't be the argument that they won't be. If they are now a TRU exclusive, they wouldn't be on the list.

  27. FedEx Ground/Home Delivery - one of the true benefits to being in the middle of the country is the relatively even cost of shipment. It's not that much different to ship to CA than it is to Miami.

  28. Copier! I see how it is... @Justafrog - Wow, cool to read about training dogs, killing dogs, and dogs living a long time. If anything, I thought you'd be a frog trainer, but a dog trainer is good too...

  29. They did not un-retire this set. The Castle with the glow in the dark stickers was and still is very much retired. Try to find 9468 at LEGO Shop at Home in Australia, New Zealand, Hungary, Poland etc. MF is completely done, except for the Haunted House. Whatever is left in the wild is it. I suggest grabbing what you want before I do lol.

  30. Sold: 2x 6865 Captain America 2x 4865 HP Forbidden Forest 4737 Quidditch Match Star Wars 7749 Echo Base and 8083 Trooper Battlepack. This was my first big selloff since I started investing last year. I netted 100% profit so I am happy. I wish I had more 4865's...
