  1. I been getting alot of questions on how I box up my Lego sets to be mailed. First thing I only use Bubble Wrap on maybe 5% of the sets I mail. I use that Brown and White Packaging paper that alot of companies use to ship stuff. I get mine from those GNC Vitamin stores, they throw boxes of it away. I put the Lego set in the box, then I take the paper and stuff it in between the Lego set and the box, then I put a few layers on top of the Lego set, then I take a Priority mail, Fedex box on top. and then close and tape the box up. Now I have mailed thousands of boxes this way, and none have ever got damaged, plus with this size box there is not enough room to use Bubble Wrap, except for the real thin Bubble Wrap that is no good. So on the sets like the Helm's Deep, VC, Black Pearl etc I use the 24x4x16. And for the Volkswagen camper,Olivia's House, batcave, Etc I use the 20x4x16. Since Bubble Wrap is not cheap I save Hundreds of Dollars and more on using the Paper. Check the Pictures Below. Ed

  2. I would like to thank all the wonderful people who told me about PRICE MATCHING at Target! Today I took the Heartlake High set to the customer service desk. They did a price match with Amazon--price down to 39.99. Then I used my $5 off of $29.99 and up Target Lego coupon. Then I used my Target red card. Grand total after all of that was $35.57!

  3. We were going to this big Chinese place for lunch the other day that is amazing and one of the guys didn't want to go. I asked why. He said "like 6 months ago they had rats." I was like "If we didn't go to every Chinese place that had rats, we weren't going to be able to ever eat Chinese again."

  6. I think that point was that they would have been reboxed. I don't think Lego would send out beat up boxes like Amazon. It could be a new production run altogether, as well, the world may never know.

  7. I'm assuming this dude never gone out to eat. You might as well give him a copy of Upton Sinclair's masterpiece The Jungle. He might just end up feeding himself with an IV the rest of his life.

  9. Just got done finishing my own Palace Cinema last night. Looks great with all the others. However, I didn't think that this modular had that many interesting techniques in it. It was a pretty straightforward build compared to other modulars. Just my opinion though. I don't buy sets to be blown away by some new technique, but I do like learning new ways to build something, and I didn't think this set really did that. The Parisian Restaurant looks to show us some new things, however.

  10. I would have MUCH preferred a generic western theme to LR. I'm probably going to end up with a fair amount of Constitution Trains. I think this set crosses the line in regards to what I was talking about earlier. Western/LR/Train fans will hopefully want this set now and in the future. Will they want the other LR sets? I don't know, so I'm not going big on those, though I think the Carriage could do well too since it is well done.

  11. We have an image for the Heartlake Juice Bar. Wowie, look at those colors. It's so....fruity. I like the printed pineapple in the bin, and I think Naya has just become my favorite minidoll, like, ever.

  14. Okay, but would you believe he inherited it from a nice little old lady who only built things on Sundays and he's just a poor chump with no idea what it's really worth, so you're definitely getting a HUGE bargain here?

  15. Yeah, the wings are definitely made from lego wing pieces. That dragon is awesome. The tail on him is gorgeous.

  16. Very cool stuff! On a side note: I believe those plastic pieces are Lego. They look like the plastic wings from the Viking boat and an early 2000 SW Ewok set.

  18. Hey all, thanks for all the kind words and helpful feedback. We have never gotten a negative vibe from LEGO of any sort. We have multiple contacts there and they are always very accommodating to us. From our experience as a vendor at brick fairs, I can say that there has never been issues with people reselling LEGO sets that are in high demand. As we all know, popular sets that run short on supply, seem to always catch up to demand before they are retired. Last year's Minecraft, for example. Our local LEGO store employees know who we are, we always respect the limit rules. I don't see a 'ban' in our future. We have very open communication with TLG and this sort of thing has never come up.

  19. I have no doubts that they have their eye on you now. Making a purchase like any other customer in a normal quantity, those people are the most likely to suspect. Suspect for what, I'm not really sure. Maybe that you are a customer.

  20. For historical purposes, Target had these for $59.99 during a BOGO 50% off sale back in May 2013 so if you were buying in two's, you were getting these for $45.00 each.
