This set is great, Toys R Us wants $129.99, Amazon $124.99, I paid $103.00 at Toys R Us 25% Off sale, so they will be going back. Costco is 2 miles up the road, so i will be loading up on these. http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/generations-titan-metroplex-coming-soon-to-a-costco-near-you-for-7999/28391/1 point

Nobody pays any attention to "inside information" from Lego store employees because they have no idea what they're talking about. On the rare occasions they turn out to be correct, it's probably a matter of luck, like a broken clock being right twice a day. Lego does not keep minimum wage clerks in the loop on unreleased upcoming product info.1 point

I'm right with you. I see the OP is located in France, if that's right. So are we talking 1001 point

There isn't much there but everything is getting BOGO an prices aren't more jacked up than last week. Best thing I found is two LOTR pirate ships for $139 shipped. Not too bad a deal.1 point

Sell some to me, I live semi close in delaware. I'll give you $120 easily. Do you have a list of the star wars figs?1 point

Metroplex came out in 1986, was the quintessential G1 Transformer of its time, and was featured prominently in the comic and cartoon series and the beginning of the original animated movie (as autobot city). If you were even remotely into the toys in their first 2 years of existence, you would be familiar with Metroplex.1 point

EBay store is messed up again - Its letting you do BOGO on items you shouldn't be able to!!!! GO FOR THE REAL SALE!!!1 point

Very cool. You know, selling that quantity of figures would be a very good ebay tutorial. Sell them in small lots, boom, you got 100+ sales. The Rancor alone is worth $25 shipped. The last thing you want to do is list the whole lot on CL.1 point

I no it don't, it would just add 60,000 more sets for christmas.1 point

how did you find out about this Emazers? email? newspaper? cause the target.com site show nothing right now?1 point

I found it ironic the employee was hot, and the HOTDEALS....were not. I am thinking if I went right away when the sale started that I could have gotten them at a discount like others did. But life and work get in the way. One day I will be able to live for my hobbies, eat donuts all day with no ill effects and never miss a clearance again.1 point

Oh, I know one here )) 1st picture mid row, the 1st one is from Aquariders (the one with blue trident)1 point

Yeah, that set and others of the time could be considered very gender neutral but it is a set all the same so let's just go with that one as the first set for girls as well as boys. I believe Belleville running as long as it did was successful as a theme specifically aimed towards girls with the current Friends line taking over as the next best thing of which I do hope sticks around for a long time. A long time indeed. Too true. Stereotypes are formed by typically consistent patterns seen in people (and animals) but even then they only hold so much weight or truth reliably. Have you seen one of the videos with a dog and deer playing? Two animals in any other circumstance would be considered enemies yet here they are best of friends. Not a stereotype really, just a little reminder of how out of the ordinary life can be if people are open to it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmOMA6CqL681 point

I'd recommend learning to use eBay - you can sell enough there to afford a decent Lego habit with not too much time and effort once you get the hang of it. Read all the getting started help pages and just go slowly at first.1 point

If I'm understanding correctly, these are sealed boxes of 60. $100 for these is a steal, and in no way a waste. I understand your not liking how Lego did Mr. Gold, but to get sealed boxes of series 10 for this price is in no way throwing money away.1 point

I think Lego hit it out of the park with Friends. Some girls like pink and frilly, some don't. My oldest is rarely to be seen wearing anything other than black (and then it's only red and gold when she's cheering on the 9ers and obsessively updating her football blog). My youngest is rarely to be seen wearing anything other than pink and other bright flower colors. Outside of what colors they should or shouldn't like, they both like kittens, zombies, cooking shows, gaming, my little ponies, power walking, bunnies, Doctor Who, Disneyland, Game of Thrones... Both are writers - my youngest "pink" girl writes thrillers and dark fantasy, my oldest "tomboy" girl writes light to medium-dark fantasy. Stereotyping only gets you so far. There's nothing wrong with girls or boys who like pink bricks or don't like pink bricks.1 point

Sure, there's a chance, but I would not return opened boxes if I didn't find what I was looking for - would you appreciate being the next customer in line buying your returned opened boxes hoping to find a Mr. Gold?1 point

We are not interested in this type of forum. If you would like this, please create a forum/website of your own where you can have these types of discussions without moderation. There are also many other forums and websites where you can discuss things more openly. Brickpicker is not the place for this and honestly it would add NO value to our website at all. Stomping based on what I am reading here, and those awful tags you posted, you have violated our guidelines on posting. I really don't think Brickpicker we are the website for you.1 point

Yeah if you look back a couple of pages, I posted a link when TRU came back in stock for like 2 minutes. They were gone quick. I also used the word "Brochachos" but I didn't get any plus 1's. Its a tough world out there.1 point

I found a similar advert on youtube to embed.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kE18a567ZD0 Besides the pretty epileptic seizure inducing flashing lights, there is very little of worth here. There will always be copycats of great products and I realize competition is a good thing but the knockoffs need to offer something of quality all around aside from a 'unique' concept.1 point
