That's rough...why don't you just list the Destiny's Bounty for sale, then when someone buys it send them a confirmation telling them that you have shipped their Ultra Sonic Raider?2 points

Cool idea for a UK modular build. A News Agent, next to a Barggin Booze, Next to a curry house. You could have a wine'o being sick, some kids smoking weed on the street conner. With a hooker hanging a round the street lamp, as a car pulls up. Two Skin heads kicking the (india) shop keeper. I think Ive captured the English high street perfictley. Stomping2 points

I don't have it happen much anymore, because when you get to a higher volume of inventory (we have 4000+ eBay listings and a growing Bricklink inventory sitting right now at 22K) you've got to be organized or go to the nuthouse, there is no middle ground. Now, our personal possessions are a bit higgledy piggledy after our move, but my storage unit full of inventory is beautifully and meticulously organized!1 point

Based on the similar bid-history pattern for each, it's either maliciousness directed at the seller, or another dealer using straw bidders to try to artificially pump the item's sales history. Neither of those transactions is going to finalize.1 point

I have that set. I'll try to remember to check the instructions tonight when I get home for clues.1 point

Referencing another open box listing, looks like you are good: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-Star-Wars-Jango-Fetts-Slave-I-7153-sealed-bags-/330988057834 Good price too!1 point

Looks good Stomping. Your GF is more understanding than my wife would be. She would have kicked me out of the house. I'll have to get some shots of the basement and put them up. I have the Modulars on my desk, along with a couple other displays. The boxes are all in a storage room down there, out of sight to keep young hands off them.1 point

Why is there a "secondary" market? There isn't one for megablocks. Lego consistantly under prices their products, and doesn't make enough. This is all very simple to me. If the crawlers are selling for $400--then Lego should have done market research and priced them at $400. If they sold out of 20K at $200 and wanted to leave the price point alone, they should have printed 50k. The secondary market is only picking up the scraps that Lego, Amazn et all are leaving on the retail table.1 point

My gut tells me this set will be available throughout most of 2014 (if not all). I stopped at 2 sets which I was luckily enough to be on the cheap (under $195 each). Hope I am wrong.1 point

I'd look at their previously purchased items and see if there are any red flags there. Like international buyers buying a $200 item when their three feedback are for 3 electronic items from china totaling $12 with shipping between the 3 items.1 point

Hey, yeah I'm a teacher too. I teach 10/11 year olds and in the UK we now have to do a grammar test - am definitely going to use this idea of building sentences; it's brilliant! I have just bought the new Mindstorms for my class this year as well ICT curriculum is getting trickier to teach without being able to program and control. I intend to use Lego a lot this year as my group are very into it. I'll use it to stimulate ideas for writing creatively, I'll use it in maths to replace the standard blocks etc we use... And I hope to find many more ways as the year goes on. I want to start a multi-age Lego club too (many schools do this) but just need to work out how to get a whole load of Lego to get things going. We are privileged to be able think and teach creatively using our own talents and interests.1 point

I own (and have built) all modulars except Cafe Corner and Market Street, so couldn't comment on those. Most challenging I voted for Town Hall simply because it's the biggest. Difficulty level wise I find all modulars fairly similar. I think, but not totally sure, that the newer ones were a little easier because of seperation in more numbered bags and that the instruction manual included needed sets per page. Would have to look that up. They are all great builds. The most challinging part is usually the writing with little pieces like 1932 or Shop in FB, GE etc. My favorite is Green Grocer, but out of the ones currently available in stores, I would say pet shop. Great level of detail. Least favourite build (though still excellent) is Grand Emporium because the two top floors are a little repetitive.1 point

Wow. Can someone please make a "I'm jealous" emo-con? If the man said he's got a supplier then why don't you just let it go and congratulate the man? Don't insult the man. We're not here for that.1 point

Although we've discussed at length already the reasons for why Lego is banning large resalers, when I take a step back and look at it from a more "common" point of view it still just seems somewhat unbelievable. I've worked in the personal protecion/security/military environment for years, and in all that time I've removed alleged thieves, drunkards, homeless, and people violating the peace a countless number of times from various establishments. But I still feel baffled at the idea of forcibly removing someone from a retail store for spending money there. Lego: We've got a guy down here we want removed from our store. Cop/Security: Ok, is he causing a disturbance? Lego: Well, kind of. He's banned from our store but he's here right now. Cop/security: Ok, so what's the history? Was he violent in the past, made threats, stole? Should I bring additional backup? Lego: No, he spends too much money here. Cop/Security: Excuse me? Lego: He was banned by our corporate office because he spends alot of money in our store on the same thing and we don't want that. Cop/Security: So let me get this straight, you want him removed as a result of your refusal of service because he spends too much money there? Lego: Yes Cop/Security: Ok? I've heard of a person buying too many drinks in the bar, but this is ridiculous. We'll send someone down I guess, if that's what you really want (rolls eyes).1 point

Maybe Lego will reissue "Corner Cafe" ha ha There is such a wide variety of diffrent buildings and store types i dont see them reissuing any of them. Would like to see a Post Office, Food Store/Supermarket, Church, Arcade is a good one, Car Parts, Book Store, Antique Shop, Barber/Beauty Shop, Appliance & Repair Store, Gunshop, and there are many many more. When does anyone think Lego will stop with this series? The Pet Shop is a great building/two seperate shops to convert into other shops. With all the weapons avaiable from other sets, I'm fashioning a Gunshop into one half of a Pet Store building. maybe a Lawyers Office into the other half, seperate them and put one on each side of the Town Hall of course. Thanks for your time.1 point
