All 41999 production had ended. The last batch had already been shipped to lego stores in NA and Europe around the last week of August or the first week of September. I believe they were sold out in just a few days. LEGO Shop at Home is not accepting any exchanges for damaged box and only offers refund for return. The lego company is not going to hold inventory at their warehouses at Billund or Southaven just to release the set again before Christmas to "mess with the resellers". They are not going to make any "non-exclusive" version of the 41999 to upset the large amount of hardcore Technic fan who bought the set on day one. The 41999 was a one time only 20,000 limited set produced for the lego technic competition, other toy manufacturers had also produced limited sets once in a while. LEGO is now focusing on selling the 9398 regular 4x4 crawler instead. Staff were told to redirect people who inquire the 41999 to the regular 9398.3 points

I think it would only if there were multiples of sets. If there was one of every set, I think it would be different.2 points

I should not have brought up the topic of that 200 crawlers guy. Now I should tempt more 41999 holders to open and build their sets, to reduce market supply... The building process was extremely enjoyable and the 41999 is really the most beautiful LEGO Technic car.2 points

Well, I'm looking for someone to help me bring in a large sum of money from South Africa. All I need is the last digit of your Exclusive Edition Crawler license plate and we can complete the transfer. You will be paid US $10,000,000 for your participation when the transaction is complete.1 point

It's 0033X of 20000. I hided the last digit. EK is the initial of the winner of the competition. http://brickgarage.blogspot.com/2013/06/exclusive-review-of-41999-4x4-crawler.html1 point

As an objective observer and long term investor, it does not really matter to me if there are still some SE Crawlers to be sold through LEGO S@H or stores. That being said, I have not seen any information that makes me think that there is more to be released. But the Minecraft situation still is too fresh in my memory to write off the fact that it's possible that some new 41999s will mysteriously appear on the primary retail market for a short run. We might be talking a couple of thousand sets...or just enough to generate some excitement in the LEGO world.1 point

Jeeze louis. Everytime I turn around, we keep hearing more about how much this site really costs you guys. Damn. You guys offer so much to us with so little by comparison in return. I have said this before but it does bare repeating. BrickPicker has been a flatout awesome experience for me and continues to be as such. I am sorry the PunchTab Rewards program is becoming too costly but it sounds as though it has helped for the time being. On a similar note of Rewards, I love coming home to walk into my room and see the Haunted House I purchased from the Brickpoints Store built on display atop my shelf. I feel a great sense of pride from the experience in the build as well as the road it took to earn the Brickpoints for it, and I truly could not have done it without BrickPicker. Ed and Jeff, thank you for everything.1 point

In the upper right corner of every forum page, there's a search bar. Right now, it should say "This Topic" right next to the bar. Click on it, then choose "Members" then type in their username. Once you type in their username OR a keyword, then you are led to a list. By clicking on their name, you can view their profile. The second way to view someone's profile is by clicking on their username within a forum page, or other link, such as in an article. You can also preview their profile by hovering your mouse over their username.1 point

I'm curious on others' opinions - what do you think of lego listings that say "100% complete" in the title but then in the description it says "no mini figures." I understand that the seller is saying all the pieces are there, but how can a set be "100% complete" without the figs? If it's all in the title together, I'm even ok. But when it's not, this is misleading, but I don't know if it's just a pet peeve of mine?1 point

He bought them from me. He traded me a first round draft pick for the 2014 Lego season and an undisclosed number of Skittles.1 point

Just back from my local Target. Searched the LEGO and the clearance aisle and found nothing noteworthy. Then I noticed a random shelf with a bunch of Pirate Ship Ambush (79008) sets marked clearance at $69.98 I scanned them and they showed a price of $29.98 so I grabbed two and left one on the shelf. I am running out of room at home and may need to do a quick flip on these.1 point

I wish! No nothing crazy. Normally its just an extra 5% off. However, what happens a lot of the time is you will get something that Amazon just recently reduced the price on (for like a day). SO then you are getting an extra 5% on that and its an easy way to see that when it happens. Like yesterday the new SW AT-TE went down to $80 for a short while and it showed up in my quick picks as $75. Lol glad its working. Definitely take some vigilance and paying attention but it works. I have now gotten 2 sets of all three minecraft sets, the Delorean, the LOTR pirate ship, pretty much all the new Star Wars sets, and the Ninjaco golden dragon. Definitely increased my spending.1 point

Well, I just did a search on Amazon for Series 4 of the Planets line. The lowest price from a third party seller for any one of them is $25 each. B-wing Starfighter/Endor $25.33 Tantive IV/Alderaan $25.99 Snowspeeder/Hoth $27.00 Oh yeah, Lego. We really have such an ample opportunity presented to buy at such a lovely price from third party resellers because you refuse to offer your own product to us from your online webstore. Thank you so kindly for that. Here is my response.1 point

No problem with your post. She may not be a great writer but she's a marketing genius and knows how to create a superb product. I actually like how the themes in the books changed along with their perceived age, it makes sense. A 17 year old Potter can't be dealing with the same problems and situations the 12 year old one did.1 point

Well you guys must be working magic. Because the guy at Braintree proved to me this morning it is not possible. I bought my son a sail barge this afternoon and guy gave a choice of either poly. My son selected the trooper...and I asked why we couldnt have both. He said the system would not allow double polys. I told him a friend got both yesterday at Braintree and he said not possible. He hen showed me what happens when you try to scan both--message popped up saying one per transaction. I REALLY wanted to walk out AGAIN...but my son was with me and I didn't want to make a scene. Also---mentioned the new policy of being charged for the poly if you return the items. The receipt prints a charge, and a discount for it...where before it just showed free promo item.1 point

I wish I would've bought more of the Imperial Shuttle, Diagon Alley, Dino Defense, and Medeival Market. I managed to get just a few of each before they went EOL.1 point
