  1. That you can type "sold out" into the search at LEGO Shop at Home and it will give you all the ones sold out. Just tried it today...LoL Saves one from having to go through all the ones you're curious about.

  2. Nice score! (I don't even care what you bought it for! ) Even though this set came out a few years before I was born. LOL That set kind of is reminding me of Lincoln Logs or something. I really like the name of the set though: "Fort Legoredo".

  3. Great find! How much did that gem cost? I am assuming you got a sweet deal if you found it in a thrift store. Congrats!

  5. Do you need a permit to ride a bike or scooter down the block for fun? Many head injuries, blunt force trauma injuries, and casualties have come from this. Do people need to eat fast food for breakfast lunch and dinner? Food is a necessity that we must have to survive. But those will just clog your arteries. There are other foods that people can get and can also be affordable. And won't kill you as fast. Or cause diabetes which is another expensive long term health issue. Although I do agree with the point of regulation, I don't think it is feasible. Humans are stubborn. You can tell them what is safe and what is not safe but will they listen? Back to personal health, how many times have we been told to eat health, don't smoke, and drink in moderation (1-2 drinks daily). But how many people actually follow these guidelines every single day, every single year? On the box of the RC there was most likely a warning's and guidelines because every single thing you purchase these days have warnings.

  6. Well I think your concept can work with this "Want Ad" approach and it will just be a description of what you are looking for, just like a real classified ad in a newspaper. People will be alerted to the set(s) that you listed and then you would be contacted, figure out logisitics, price (include finders fee if needed) and then if agree on both ends, it would just turn into a normal transaction the site with feedback, etc. The bottom line, the system will work well for all sorts of communication and should help people find the sets they are looking for.

  9. Yes, for any listings where you have GSP enabled, you can remove the exclusions - you're covered for any country GSP chooses to ship to.

  10. I'd buy every one of them and provide excellent customer service to the parents who want to buy them from me off eBay this Christmas and next. :-D I'm a Mom. I put in my time hunting down ALL the needed Pokemon figures, etc. I don't blame resellers for doing their thing, and I'm glad eBay and the like exist so when I can't hunt them local, I can still find them.

  12. With Jurassic Park being canned, maybe they should consider trying an Avatar theme for 2015? Would anyone else like this?

  13. Yep. Even with their "Buy one, get one half off" sales, the math can still add up to paying over retail, and here are the Brickshow guys to explain it!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yj1byQKGYOg (That thumbnail is just wrong on so many levels. )
