Alez Jones (Orion Pax) has finally finished up his months long He-Man and the Masters of the Universe project! He even got a chance to present them at Grayskull Con 2013 to Mark Taylor, the creator of Masters of the Universe! The Brick Fan Article3 points

Ha. The only times my wife would allow herself to be photographed with Lego sets are if she were 1) throwing them out and 2) delivering a batch of sold ones to the Post Office for shipping. She wasn't always like this. I assume me having over 300 sets has something to do with it.2 points

I think the OP is really asking more of an existential question that he/she was stumbled upon while sorting through a Lego lot. To a certain extent, we all ask ourselves this question at some point... "Who am I?" You'll notice that after the post's text, there's a blank white space - a perfect metaphysical finish to the post's unanswerable question. Or maybe not...2 points

Yesterday I immediately sold all three of my 40079 VW Campers to the same buyer for $15 each, $2.50 total shipping. After fees I'll get $39, so $13 each. I think I shoulda been charging more seeing how many are selling at $20... but, I think I made up for it as I've sold 2 of my 3 Clone Lieutenant's for $20 + $2.50 Shipping each so after fees on those I'll see just under $18 each. So, pending I sell the 3rd the same way, I'll be looking at a total of $31 off each of my three $77 (pre tax) LEGO store purchases. That's 40% off! I'll take that from a LEGO store any day! -PB disclaimer: Yes, yes, I know I drove to the LEGO store using gas and wear and tear, and spent my time buying, listing and mailing and all that other jazz... but does it make me a total LEGO nut to say I enjoy even those parts of it? I can spend 30 min to an hour in the LEGO store just looking over and over at the same sets on the shelf and just somehow enjoy every second of it. Can't really explain why because I hate shopping in general. Anyways, maybe it's just my way of justifying it to myself, but I can't pass up a chance to go to the LEGO store, especially when it means I can get this kind of "deal"!2 points

I still have a positive outlook for the set. Growth may slow, but it won't be shut off like a tap. There are still plenty of people buying them to create MoCs and zombie armies. Two things I'll be watching closely are the Halloween effect and when the tv show the Walking Dead returns. I'd much rather buy a market price 9465 right now than something like a Tower Bridge or Death Star.1 point

If they did, I hope they did not accidently leave out the "L" in Flux. :mosking:1 point

Looks like a few of us will agree on disagreeing. I'm officially on the record (like people care -lol). The Zombies still has growth potential. $200 peak by Jan 2014 and $250 to $300 peak value by Jan 2015. My Jan 2015 prediction is only if the set isn't refreshed with a similar one. I'm so confident that I just purchased 5 sealed sets for $112.50 each.1 point

I have a samsung galaxy s3. It is awesome and the s4 is already out, so you might be able to get it cheap. From my understanding the Walmart App works better on Androids then it does on Iphones. But you might want someone with an Iphone to verify. For me...I can scan any set that I have, then the Walmart APP will show the "online" price. I can then check store locations and it will show local stores that have it in stock and what they are selling if for. Found some Unexpected Gatherings for $25 using this.1 point

I have the Galaxy S3. It works great for the Walmart app and really isn't as pricey as it once was. That would be my recommendation.1 point

Seriously? You think anyone is going to sue Lego because they made more than 20,000 SE Crawlers? Talk about tort abuse.1 point

If anyone want's to unload their crawlers, by trade or sell through paypal without ebay fees please message me! I have quite a few sets I might be willing to trade and see people on here who seem to want to! Thanks!1 point

If there ever was a perfect moment for the phrase of "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!" this would most certainly be it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQIVpyZibno1 point

I see it hitting around $150-$160 then plateauing. There is a point where common sense and simple economics starts to take hold. While it was an early EOL set, to ask a non special edition/Comic Con set to more than quadruple in value is a somewhat rare.1 point

I always try and give you guys the lastest scoope on anything I hear, My friend thats gives me this info along with that 2013 wholesale order form told me the SSDS, Tower Bridge, Fire Brigade are retiring. And there is a chance the Haunted House is done also, but not 100% Confirmed yet. "And with the new Summer 2013 Catalog that just came in the mail today, Well that about confirms it. The SSDS,Tower Bridge, and Fire Brigade are not listed. So if you don't have any Tower Bridges & SSDS I would not wait forever, Hopefully Lego will have a SSDS Black Friday Sale cheap, but as me and my son both got a catalog with a 10% Coupon I will be going to the Lego store in a few days and get 2 more Tower Bridges, plus I have 2 20% Coupons to use with it, I am waiting for a sale for more SSDS, and these will be big bucks in a few years, and i have plenty Fire Brigade's. And all you guys that wished you would of gotten alot of the Dubai, Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower's etc sets well don't screw up on the Tower Bridge. A well Known landmark will do very very well. "And about the Haunted House Retiring, well I am buying one or 2 a month, so in case in goes all of a sudden I will have plenty, I also have 13 SSDS, 21 Tower Bridge's, 17 Fire Brigades. "AND THE B-WING IS IN THE SUMMER CATALOG, AND MY FRIEND ALSO SAID THE DEATH STAR IS HEAR FOR ANOTHER YEAR." Still 6 months in the year and anything can change but this is the latest scoop. Ed1 point

I think Creator is good and brings back what Lego was from the beginning before all the licensed themes came out. Like Rich mentioned the houses and vehicles. The new Palace Cinema is excellent. This is the best set of all though: http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=4894-11 point
