At the local mall with wife/mom shopping for clothes today...decided to take my almost 4yr old son to TRU just to look around. Give mommy free space and looking at toys is way better than carrying bags/tagging along Thought might as well ask a cashier if they still have those Robin red cycle polybags. They lady checked and said yes we do have one left Perfect...I told her to save that for me and I will be right back with a Super Heroes purchase. She said any single purchase will do (before there was a min $30 purchase) and also handed a free Elrond polybag to my son! Cap America Cycle cost me a whopping $20.33 including taxes but got Robin Red Cycle and Elrond polybags free. I like the prices I'm seeing for Robin on ebay. Got my son a treat at Diary Queen for his help haha. *there were only 2 beat up Catwoman boxes left...but like 20 boxes of Cap Am?! I thought it would be the other way around.

Anyone else looking at the idea of Lego limiting resellers yet launching a set with a 20,000 production limit as being massively hypocritical...

This is great news for me, only a 15 minute drive!

If it really bothered lego, they wouldn't have a return 5 policy. They would never give you a $200 credit on a b wing....why would anyone think that was possible when they sold it for 99 bucks themselves just a few months ago. Good luck with that. I don't think lego cares...you are getting store credit. Not cash. They do it for goodwill. If it didn't work, o is abused...they would change their policy. A policy like that must be being abused...you would think.

totally agree also........its no surprise some people don't care, same people that are buying 150 dollars b wings from amazon and then returning them to the Lego store for full msrp credit and then get all butthurt when you call them shady.

Plus the word of one local Lego store is far from gospel........nonetheless still interested on what the "rumor" is.

I'm not talking about the size of the eagle, I am disgusted with the square brick piece they used for the feet. I can see why people see it as a flop. Must say I am not fond of it either, and would actually rather see 1-2 orcs/Gondor/Rohan soldiers over this lame boring eagle,

I just think brick built Balrogs, Saurons, Treebeards, would be such a waste, compared to the epicnes of Minas Tirith, Minas Morgul, hell even Edoras would be better than 1 single Brick built anything. Maybe i am biased because i put event display > everything else

screw Barad Dur, give Minas Tirith and Minas Morgul! Barad Dur sure is ICONIC, but nothing happens there in the movies in epic battles wise, if we exclude LOTR prologue. And if we choose between Barad Dur and Morgul I easily would vote Morgul for the looks itself. But aside from that: 1. Minas Tirith 2. Mumakil 3. fell beast and Nazgul 4. Ship that sails elrond and others at end of 3rd movie to Valinor

I'm with you guys. The returning and buying from scammers makes me embarrassed to even be associated with this stuff. Believe it or not, these actions get noticed by TLG. Supporting these kinds of activities doesn't make our lives any easier dealing with TLG or our future buyers.

The emperor has no bricks? People started doubting me and saying I was "trolling" until I started posting pictures and receipts in the thousand of dollars. That has stopped But....now its even worse that folks now I am a real investor/collector/builder. The gin blossoms sang it best...so ill leave it to them. I am almost back to 0 reputation. A few more plus ones, me toos, I agrees, cat pictures and you tubes...And ill be there! ;^)
