  1. Well all I am on are Apple products. Sure the editor doesn't work on IOS, but I know that will change in the new version so good things are coming.

  2. From the album: LFoW's MFZ MOC's

The RS-57 is a gunrunner frame, designed specifically to strike hard and strike fast. Instead of manipulator arms, the Damascus opts instead for, simply, big friggin' guns. On the right 'arm' sits a dual-barrel bore cannon, capable of veritably shredding an enemy at mid-range. On the left 'arm' lies two quad-missile launchers linked together for burying an opponent at longer ranges. Its legs were built to be highly mobile and highly adaptable. They handle most terrains with ease. Aided by the front sensor eye, the Damascus can get in, get to business, and get out before any serious retaliation even starts. LFOW's Note:This is now up for sale, as part of my initial line of customs I'm offering to the community. Look for an updated link here soon. FLICKR LINK.

  3. I don't know there is any info like this available, I could be wrong but I'm almost positive there isn't. Great set though no matter if you know that info or not.

  5. I was in TRU with my son the other day, and I think part of the issue with Speedorz not moving is their price point. At $15/each on the low end, you can get one of two construction sets (Razcal's Glider and Crawley's Claw Ripper) for the same or less money than the Speedorz. I think Lego sold a lot of Spinners because they were a good option for parents who didn't want to spend the "big" money of a construction set. Don't get me wrong - I think there's still hope for these, but I really think TLG did Speedorz a disservice setting the price point at $15.

  6. This topic has been talked about before and I feel that there will come a time(in the very near future) where MISB only will matter in case of smaller completely sealed boxes like Battle Packs. With the rise in popularity of LEGO sets and their known high values, there will be criminals and con men/women looking to skim parts and minifigures out of the easily opened larger sets. Until LEGO changes box styles and security, a simple hair dryer can remove a seal. I am coining these phrases now... VIB...Verified In Box VIBN...Verified In Box(NEW) VIBU....Verified In Box(USED) Unfortunately, this is where the world is heading. Everything has to be verified. Soon, the most important information will be how many sealed bags a set has so it can be checked before and after a sale.

  7. Welcome russellw. My advice is to look/filter on forums for this topic as there are lots...read people's opinions, see current stats on the sets you're interested in and buy themes you like youself incase if you can't sell it for profit down the road. There's lots of good reading Have fun.

  8. My Tower Bridge arrived with a damaged box yesterday, maybe even a little worse than yours. 5 min on a chat with Amazon Support, I opted for the discount offer. They knocked off another $49.99 which brought the purchase price down to $180.

  10. UCS full size Cloud City that can actually hold the Millennium Falcon on the landing bay. It could come with the Han Solo torture room, holding cell, dinner table with Vader, carbon freezing chamber, a bunch of augnauts, Lando's house complete with a fridge full of Colt 45 beers (80's beer commercial Billy Dee Williams was in for you all too young to remember), and lightsaber duel area with Luke and Vader. Should run about $1200 each and have a limited production of only 1000 sets.

  11. How many more batman related sets do you think we'll see? Since there aren't really any batman movies in the near future?

  13. Today marks the last sale of my first investment into LEGO. I started with finding 3 boxes of Queen Anne's Revenge for $39.99 a box. Sold the first for $200.00 after shipping, and the last two for $210.00 after shipping. Coming away with $620.00 with an initial investment of $130.00 or so with tax feels pretty good for my first three sales. I've already reinvested in more sets. This place is a great help. =)
