FR-75 "Hydros" - Underwater Superiority Frame

The Hydros is an underwater prototype, first confiscated by the Solar Union from its designer, a rogue SU engineer who was to sell the design to rebel factions.

Tyrestian, during his defection from the Solar Union, managed to steal away this frame and all of its technical data and schematics. Research of this frame eventually lead to the development of Marshal Mardukas' ST-X9t "Tiamat".

However, the Hydros is a very advanced frame, and even the top engineers of the Mistarille Dawn have had trouble adapting parts of its technology.

The entire frame is fitted with special light-refracting armor plates, making the Hydros very hard to target in the water.

For movement, a pair of omni-directional thrusters, allows the Hydros to maneuver gracefully through the water. Fitted to the front of these thrusters are quad-barrel torpedo launchers.

Its shield, the Aegis of the Nereid, hides a twin harpoon launcher, allowing it to be used both offensively as well as defensively.

Finally, its trident, Neptune's Wrath, is tipped with special high-decibel vibro blades, specifically attuned to the water to maximize their destructive capability.

The Hydros is unmatched in underwater combat, and remains a safe to crack for Mistarille Dawn's R&D.

This is a re-imagining of this old frame that I did ages ago. I only had really old parts so it was really, really bad looking. Thought I'd give it a facelift and a back story.
