speedsausage Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I suspect the same, but I bought my collectors peace with double VIP points. Same here, grabbed my one and only PS during VIP too. Unless I can get a used one at a reasonable price. Quote
yu051131 Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 It's not going anywhere this year. does it in stock in retail? Quote
wesman888 Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 It's been out of stock for 2 months... Sent from my SM-N915T using Brickpicker mobile app Quote
Goodby1 Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Thank you for ordering from shop.LEGO.com. Unfortunately, the item(s) listed below are currently out of stock and it will be a little longer before we can ship them to you. Quote
weakside Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Still waiting for my CP to ship and arrive. Only ordered one to build. Will be my second corner unit other than GE. Hope I get to add CP to my street...I'm not chasing the older modulars' (GG, MS, CC). My 2 PS arrived yesterday pretty mint...will stay in the closet for a while. Quote
litlnev Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 So I just got a confirmation email from lego saying that my PC has shipped, but it only says 149 vip points earned even though the order was placed during 2x vip points. Is this correct or an error on their part? Quote

Is this correct or an error on their part? when you check your account history it should show 2 lines of PC 149 points Quote
litlnev Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Okay thank you! Hasn't shown up yet (probably will tomorrow) but I thought it was weird since the ones that did ship on time showed the full amount of points earned on the email. Quote
Goodby1 Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 My two PC's from double VIP period have shipped as well!!! Yay! Quote
BrickDesign Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 My PC is currently on backorder. When I ordered it from the Europe LEGO Shop at Home website, I received free shipping. However, now that it's on backorder... does this mean I must pay shipping? Quote

10230 Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 12R5 from double-VIP order - mid-March week if assumptions are correct. Quote
hannibal Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Do you guys think this shortage has something to do with the new small boxes being introduced? I was at Westfield shopping centre in London over the weekend just gone and I saw the new boxes lego mentioned some time ago. They're about 30% smaller than the current ones. So I wonder if this has anything to do with the recent chaos of sets being in short supply... There were PCs on the shelves though and R5s too Quote

I think it has to do with the holidays, double VIP, and people panic buying Palace Cinemas over the last few months because they believe it may retire this year because Town Hall retired early. To me, there are few similarities between Palace Cinema and Town Hall other than they had (have) been out more than 2 years. The price point is different and box size is different. Nobody knows about sales of PC, but many assume TH sales were poor because of price point. Quote

oneknightr Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 I have a feeling this set will be retired soon, only because I have one! I'm not even sure why I only have one of this set when I have several FB, GE, TH, and PS. Gotta pick up more. Quote
brickolodon Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 I think it will retire at least next year...i got none, too earlier. 1 Quote

GhostDad Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Ouch! That mini PC took a bite out of his finger! Quote
harbourxie Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Just received the 1 PC ordered from Target. It has a seal code 12R5 Quote
GhostDad Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 That's awfully recent. After TH, I'm open to anything, but I have trouble seeing the reasoning behind an early retirement for PC. Do people just not like movies anymore, or what? It seems like a stretch to me, and if you buy a PC now, you are in all likelihood 1.5 years early... Quote
Fcbarcelona101 Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 It could definitely be retired early, but in all honesty I'd rather focus on Pet Shop. It would be more logical even if we know that sometimes LEGO doesn't really retire sets in a logical way.. Quote
