Ciglione
me neither. but how can that be? It was announced by lego, wasn't it?
biniou
It was announced by lego, wasn't it? Yes. VIP offer only. The rest is only guess. But mark my words, I'm 99% sure it will be the fairground mixer so guys don't wait the Ecto-1 too much.
shady225
which set is released today? i am not vip member so i dont know it.
Pseudoty
Have they ever done in store only? That would be nice Ecto-1 demand would be high.
Migration
I had a good laugh when I googled "may 15th lego exclusive vip set". Your Micheal Corleone and Migration's shifter are the top 2 google images for some reason. That ought to leave non brickpicker LEGO fans scratching their heads. That's awesome, I'm famous. That does seem odd considering I only commented like two or three times in this forum.

Migration
Fairground Mixer 10244. Looks like I'll be shopping on June 1.
Jen_Drinjak
Where do you see it? I refreshed the Lego website, checked the VIP promotions page...everything looks the same.

CNH1974
Better to spend your cash on Maersk Ships or Emporiums?
Migration
Where do you see it? I refreshed the Lego website, checked the VIP promotions page...everything looks the same. I searched "Fairground Mixer" and it came up with a " you have the opportunity to own this set before anyone else..." type statement. Guest TabbyBoy
Gutted that it wasn't Ecto-1 or Mini Cooper.
baldilocks
I am seeing fairground mixer, but I can't add it to my cart even as a VIP. Are we sure this is the set?
Popculturology
I get the "For Lego VIPs" screen, but once I click through there's no option to add the Mixer to my cart.
Migration
Well at least we know the set, I can now go about my day in peace.
Jen_Drinjak
Unlike a lot of people, I think the mixer is cool. It's got 12 mini figures and a unique Carnival theme that would make a fun add on to a city set up. However, I would only get one for myself. I don't think it will be popular enough for an investment. And I certainly don't expect it to sell out today. Maybe I'll pick it up an EOL. turcicus
Look at the fine print down there - it's not available until 11:59pm EST tonight. I'm bummed. I was hoping for the Ecto-1 or MINI Cooper. baldilocks
Are these flippable since not everyone has access to them?

nexus7
They're clearly in the process of updating the website (and all the appropriate sections for the VIP deal. I'd give them a bit of time and I'd imagine it'll work shortly.
Jen_Drinjak
I wouldn't think so. All you have to do to buy one is walk into a Lego store and sign up for VIP membership. It does say that if you sign up for VIP online, you can't buy this until your SECOND purchase.
turcicus
I think that's the end time on May 31. Oh yeah. D'oh! I was up so late last night waiting for this that now my reading comprehension sucks.
BearCrash
I don't see it on the European LEGO Shop at Home but on the US LEGO Shop at Home it's already OOS.
game
OOS Ships in 30 days? hmm
Pseudoty
Are these flippable since not everyone has access to them? If you pick them up in store possibly but check ebay first as flippers will bid this down. The Simpsons House was $200 and was going for $279 not much profit to be made. I think this set will only be a winner if they start a new line and add other carnival rides and people will want the first one.
