njseale
This sale is for kids and sw fans. Lego is telling the investors to suck it. Targeting Kids and SW fans? What are they thinking?
jaisonline
This sale is for kids and sw fans. Lego is telling the investors to suck it. Stinks for Star Wars AFOLs also who were looking to save a few dollars.
Pseudoty
So how much is everyone going to list revan for on ebay? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-Starwars-Exclusive-Minifigure-Darth-Revan-5002123-free-expedited-ship-US-/261447057951?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item3cdf75821f
boxofcorey
Those offers don't help me, I still don't know what I actually want to spend 75$ on.
jaisonline
Anyone know if the hype for Raven is legit? Was he part off the EU that was erased last week? If so, that could dampen demand. It would be pretty cool regardless if this character is rebooted and ends up in the next film. CHA CHING .
Jeff Mack
True but Pre Viszla was just 75% off at the Lego store. Picked up 3 Yes but everyone didn't get this deal, so for other people, this is a good deal.
Darth_Raichu
Lol I have sold the Yoda watches for less than this so called "sale". So TLC has figured out resellers are the main buyers for the UCS / big sets and will buy no matter what. Why discount when ppl still clean up their stocks at MSRP?
legoman12323123
I don't think it is that bad. I don't know why a lot of people thought they would discount an exclusive when there policy is no discounting exclusives. 3 Sets at 50% off is a nice promotion for LEGO fans. Malevolence + Skiff + ? to get the order over $75. try 2x skiff + malevolence ... would be a shame if you were a few dollars short and didnt get a raven due to mathematical error. plasticbrix
Thanks for the info, all I know is that there was over 200 people reading this thread. Wow!!!
Ed Mack
Bottom line is that I will be making multiple purchases tonight. It is a BrickPicker rule to buy any set that is discounted 50% or more. Sent from my iPad using Brickpicker
BrickLegacy
Bottom line is that I will be making multiple purchases tonight. It is a BrickPicker rule to click on one of the affiliated links first and buy any set that is discounted 50% or more.
BrickNik
This sale is for kids and sw fans. Lego is telling the investors to suck it. I can't wait to "suck it". Boring, maybe. A letdown, okay. Skiffs for 12.50 and Malevolences for 60? Great deals. The Skiff has a very high ceiling for its price point. *gags on TLG* *comes up for air a couple minutes after midnight*
XCool
So both Star Wars ship having a rotating cockpit gets 50% discounted.

It would be pretty cool regardless if this character is rebooted and ends up in the next film. CHA CHING . In theory he was, but his universe still has an MMO going on. It would be stupid to abandon the ToR universe because the films are practically unaffected by it, and clearing the accumulated obscure trash was Disney's aim by the erasure to give themselves some freedom for the new films. If EA Games is continuing making ToR games they need a license and I don't see any reason why Disney shouldn't make ToR canon. This is the only part of the SW world besides the main setting that has a wider recognition.
knarrff
I don't think it is that bad. I don't know why a lot of people thought they would discount an exclusive when there policy is no discounting exclusives. It isn't bad, true. But LEGO made that policy. They can just as easily break it. It would be surprised if LEGO would be legally bound or something to adhere to their own policies. So, there was hope.

Darth Revan's action figures is one of the most expensive wide-release (non-limited) 3.75" action figures to be released in past 15 years and has actually appreciated nicely in the last 2-3 years. The new films will not wipe out existing EU fan favorites, although of course there will be more products to dilute dollars overall.

Darth_Raichu
try 2x skiff + malevolence ... would be a shame if you were a few dollars short and didnt get a raven due to mathematical error. still 3 cents short ;)
DoNotInsertIntoMouth
Im not gonna complain. Remains to be seen how many Malvolence and Desert Skiffs there are in stock. Pre Vizsla isn't a bad set either honestly. I will definitely be purchasing several of each... if I can.

Yeah this is what I decided on pretty quickly 50% off plus VIP points plus Darth Revan brings these sets to a total saving of around 60% off. legopocalypse
still 3 cents short No it's not. 2 skiffs @$12.50 each = $25 + malevolence at$60 = $85 which will get you the Darth Revan
spener90
still 3 cents short No it isn't... 12.50+12.50+60=85>75.
