wintersun Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Hello, I've finished my "dark age" of Lego last year just before the birth of my kid. And since then I bought a lot of Lego, too fast and really too high (ex: 10030 order piece by piece). Now I learned to wait and buy in sales, and I found out there a real potential to make money with Lego. So now, I'll try to pay all my Lego with Lego profit and I'll feel less guilty to have a huge collection That's why I joined this great site! Quote
Jeff Mack Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Welcome to the site wintersun, there are a lot of great collectors and investors here, so I am sure you will be able to learn from the best to help you pay for the sets you want and hopefully not overpay. Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Just a reminder, as I know Jeff and Ed are aware, even though nobody likes paying retail for any set, chances are still great that you still stand to make money 2-5 years down the road on almost all LEGO sets. Note the word ALMOST. Quote

Note the word ALMOST.So true...Never pay retail. Every LEGO set will get discounted at some time of its life on the primary retail market. On topic, welcome to the site. Quote
