exciter1 Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 I'll definately be ordering some boxes with this one! Me too, I need to figure out what I need. Quote
justgod Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I went through and made of list of boxes I need when they had the last sale. I am ready to go. Thanks for this!! Wonder why I didn't get an e-mail about it though. Quote
exciter1 Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 Hmmm, not working on the boxes I've selected so far. Anyone know what qualifies as "retail store supplies"? Quote
justgod Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 If you do a search on Google for: Retail Store Supplies Staples, it actually shows corrugated boxes. May have to call in to get the discount applied. Quote
johnwray Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Anyone have a cheat sheet that outlines what Staples shipping boxes work best with the various Lego boxes? Quote
exciter1 Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 Almost 50% off a female mannequin, just the top half. I'm searching for the bottom half now, since I know some of you will need the link. http://www.staples.com/Female-Arms-Mannequin-Hands-On-Hips-White/product_219018 Quote
Huskers1236 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Anyone have a cheat sheet that outlines what Staples shipping boxes work best with the various Lego boxes? Measure the boxes you have the most of. Staples has a box for just about everything. I think in my last order I had about 5 standard sizes that fit about everything. Quote
exciter1 Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 Just got off the phone and completed my order. They honored the coupon for boxes, but they had to get authorization to push it through. Quote
beartrapper Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Brickset also includes box dimensions. I make a guestimate of what I want to sell and order boxes accordingly. Quote
labfreak7 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Very nice, I got 75 boxes for 34.00 shipped. Thanks for the heads up! Quote
exciter1 Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 Very nice, I got 75 boxes for 34.00 shipped. Thanks for the heads up! You must have bought the same ones I did. Quote
imirish11 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 For small sets, 12x10x6 are exactly $15 for a bundle of 25. I used the coupon code on 100 of these for $30+tax. Uline charges $0.60+freight for the same box. Quote
exciter1 Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 I bought 50 - 11-3/4"(L) x 8-3/4"(W) x 4-3/4"(H) - Great for $20 sets (Wolverine Choppers 6866 & Power Armor Lex 6862) & 25 - 24"(L) x 14"(W) x 4"(H) - Great for Dolphin Cruisers, Black Gate's & Weathertops) Total = $34.82 shipped Quote
Cetona Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 For those who don't know, the free USPS boxes are really good for smaller sets too, I use the ones that are roughly 15x12x3 and they fit sets like Umbaran MHC and Friends Adventure Camper perfectly. Quote
Darth_Raichu Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Since I am not in position to spend time and call CS to get this offer right now, does anyone know what time Staples CS closes ? Quote
Busch97racing Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I think 8pm eastern time. Not for sure, but that what I believe I have seen on their website before. Quote

Those are only Priority Mail Flat Rate, right? Quote
imirish11 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 There is a 15 x 12 x 3 mailing box that is NOT flat rate. Those can be ordered from USPS for free 25 per case. 1 Quote
Gee Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I hate to ask, because I should know. What Staples envelopes are great for sending minifigures? These? http://www.staples.com/Clear-Postal-Approved-Mailing-Bags-6x9/product_361245 Quote
holleman67 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Those should work size wise but I'd recommend bubble mailers, I've had trouble with other envelopes being ripped open and the minifigures falling it in transit. Happened more than once so I know it wasn't someone trying to scam me Quote

Cetona Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 do you mind posting a link? I just searched the website and did some googling but couldnt find these Here you go: https://store.usps.com/store/browse/uspsProductDetailMultiSkuDropDown.jsp?categoryNavIds=catGetMailingShippingSupplies%3asubcatMSS_B%3asubcatMSS_B_Free&categoryNav=false&navAction=push&navCount=2&productId=P_O_1095&categoryId=subcatMSS_B_Free The only caveat is they have to be sent using priority mail, but I generally send everything priority anyways so it's not a big deal for me. 1 Quote
Cetona Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Also for bubble mailers, check out Sunuku mailers on ebay. I recently purchased 50 bubble mailers for minifigs for $7, and you can get them cheaper if you buy more. They're not as high of quality as some other brands, but they definitely get the job done.
