Sorry, I don't understand, what do you mean??

Review by TLG?

Item under review by Amazon hence the price jump. Most likely due to customers complaining about damaged boxes .

For reference, 10243 Parisian Restaurant is in the same state. Takes 10-12 business days according to Amazon rep.

Funny that the 10243 thread is rife with early retirement speculation, while this thread is filled with a typical British air of "nothing to see here, move along" ..... must be the set theme :)

Here is a guy on CL wanting to pay $20 for someone to build his Tower Bridge https://raleigh.craigslist.org/tag/5453741859.html Maybe there is an untapped market for lego subcontractors

Hmmm maybe I should start up a side business doing this... But I would further sub out sticker applying for certain builds.  Maybe certain other elements also. I would just be the GC that collects the check and orders missing pieces at a 25% up charge.

Ha! I saw this just now. Almost considered responding, as I enjoy the construction more than anything, but $20 isn't much for all the time it would take to do.

It's not a job, it's a privilege...

For most sets and exclusives I'd say this is a sweet deal. But for Tower Bridge I still see 1x1 slopes in my nightmares from when I put mine together.

Too bad it isn't used/ loose pieces. Imagine the kinda money we could charge then :money:

Plus the bags are not numbered. It's a beautiful set, but a chore to put together.

I let my coworker build our Tower Bridge. He said his wife really wanted to build it and I knew I would never get to it. Worked out great as I can't stand repetitive builds. Now I need to see if he wants to build my maersk :) I don't like stickers either.

I built my TB with the help of two friends. 2 people building each tower in parallel and the third person sorting and pre-supplying the pieces. We rotated the sorting job from time to time. The build went relatively quickly this way and was enjoyable.

Edit: I just realized we are in DD thread. Sorry for continuing the off topic Mods.

Newest seal code on TB?

I've seen only one tower bridge box, but it was an old box a little crushed.

I don't take his seal.
