cissi
The new box feels more sturdy. I remembered mentioning once before at the store that the TB box I received was dented. The employee said that's because they are so heavy but box is so thin. Hope the new box help all our future orders arrive safe. At least, I need to find a positive side on this. lol
Sauromosis
Can we sell the first edition as "vintage?"
exciter1
It's a nice set, good seller, and we really can't blame them for keeping it around. Keep those in-stock alerts coming.

Jersey Crewmax
It looks like me sticking to only one might have been a good call.

Popular Post ravenb99
Can we sell the first edition as "vintage?"I'm going with RETIRED BOX Tower Bridge on all my listings
landphieran
Something odd occurred today and I'm a bit concerned. I called in to cancel my tower bridge orders. They said the orders were already cancelled by their authorization process (which is an automated authentication program). Where they deny the payment "in-case" it is a fraudulent charge. He said he could reinstate the order if i was interested.
BrickLegacy
I like the new box art but I hate what it might do to my portfolio. I'm going to remain patient and see how this plays out. Its impossible to know what TLG is up to with this move.

Exclusives will be around longer and smaller sets will be refreshed faster. Look at the Agents theme. That is just ridiculous how fast these new ones retired.

If your account can still be used, I'd tread lightly going forward.

landphieran
I was considering the same thing. I'm just surprised since it was the only transaction in ~2 weeks and was within limits. May just be bad practices catching up to me. Note taken TLG.This could signal a ban, or a partial ban, where orders above a certain size are automatically cancelled. dcdfan
What does this tell us about the rumors of the JW series going EOL before christmas?I think it's unrealistic to think this line is done. I think only 75920 & 30320 are done...
Alpinemaps
What does this tell us about the rumors of the JW series going EOL before christmas?JW theme isn't going anywhere. Go into the JW theme thread and look for the article posted today. Lego was shocked at how well it's doing.
Foxhound
Does anyone know, how many boxes of Tower Bridge (10214) and Sidney Opera House (10234) brown outer boxes (with Lego print) contain? For example, Pet Shop's outer box contains 2 items. Is every Tower Bridge or Sidney Opera House sent in a brown box? Thank you in advance! cambridge02138
Based on my personal experience in 2014, in the US, a TB outer box contains 2 TB sets.
jbacunn
You all are making a huge assumption that new box are means that it won't retire anytime soon. Any proof to support this position?
