Lego, the company known by kids and parents alike for its colorful building bricks, is hugely successful. Over the last four years it has enjoyed double-digit growth...but, just ten years ago, the company was losing nearly a million dollars a day. Bloomberg traveled to the company

Two things:

1. The CEO said point blank the new China plant was not for cost cutting, it was for market expansion to Asia

 

2. I know more about the Friends theme than the LEGO rep that accompanied the reporter

 

One of the above should be a sign of the apocalypse :D :D :D

"Our retailers do 60% of their business in the 9 weeks leading up to New Years."

From this, I will look at my Lego sales during this period in 2013 and multiple by 1.25 to establish a 25% growth sales goal for the holiday season 2014. Then I divide that number by .6 to establish a sales goal for all of 2014.
