baldilocks Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Does anyone know if the exo suit will be the early VIP set on July 18th? Quote
@rtisan Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Does anyone know if the exo suit will be the early VIP set on July 18th? It doesn`t appear that way. The Mini-Camper seems to be the set that will be made available, and that would make sense given that the Exo Suit will undoubtably have less stock available. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I added the link to the recently posted third & final part of the Brickset review to my post up a bit to keep all of them together for the sake of convenience. Here's a guick link. Quote
sadowsk1 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I will buy two if I can. One to retire on and the other to keep for myself MISB for all time because it will lose value the moment I open it. Quote
hobbycrafter Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Huh. It looks smaller now. Well...not quite... Some blame the ball and socket joints for the additional height, and I agree. Quote
Stevenplays Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Well...not quite... Some blame the ball and socket joints for the additional height, and I agree. Ah well what I meant was that from these user taken pictures it looks smaller than what I had originally thought, not compared to the original project. My fault though, should have clarified that. TheOrcKing Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 A contest over at Eurobricks titled Turtle Insanity has begun. The challenge is to build a brick built tiny turtle that can fit within a 8x8 area with the prizes being a signed copy of the Exo-Suit plus an exclusive t-shirt. All entries will be judged by Peter Reid (creator of the Exo Suit), Mark Stafford (LEGO Designer who created the final model), and Karen Frost S Quote

Quacs Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 No THIS IS the mars rover. Picture may vary from actual product. I beg to differ - this is the Mars Rover 1 Quote
Darth_Raichu Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Wait I thought Howard crashed the Mars Rover ?* I am so confused *BBT reference ;) Quote
biniou Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 ah ah a wolowitz minifig (picked from the cusoo project) would be nice in that exosuit... at least if you add six breasts of course (reference again ) Quote
TheOrcKing Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Making a turtle is much harder than I imagined, especially considering the 8x8 restriction. I'm having difficulty trying to even get into that mindset of building a robo turtle thingy. The few entries already submitted are neat and give me a better understanding about the challenge which helps. I'm just not sure whatever I could create would get the judges attention really. Still, it's always worth a try at the very least. Wait I thought Howard crashed the Mars Rover ?* I am so confused ....Howard the duck? Quote
Darth_Raichu Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 ....Howard the duck? Knock knock - Who's there ? Howard - Howard who ? Howard you missing the Big Bang Theory reference while a French man clearly was not ? :D :D Quote
Guest TabbyBoy Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 This set is indeed a winner. Big time. I agree and I'm going to test the UK ban hammer! I think the green minifigs are superb. Quote
