TheOrcKing Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 GRogall of Eurobricks has revealed images for the last Star Wars set of 2013! Suggested retail is $89.99 and exclusive to Toys R Us. Pretty good deal & design I think. Quote
comicblast Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Reminds me of the Republic Frigate in color scheme and design. Quote
emazers Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Well since this set is not on the Wholesale Order Form, It Looks Like a Lego & Toys R Us Exclusive. $99.99 at Lego, and at least $109.99 at Toys R Us. Quote
Diabolos80 Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I want it. Might have to build this instead of the gunship re-release. Anybody know the release date? Quote
Blackjack Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 The genaric names for the characters are complete BS. Quote
Blackjack Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 That Sith Inquisitor can give Malgus a run for his meatiness! ...although he would ultimately lose. ;) Quote
TheOrcKing Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 The "Sith Warrior" minifig looks pretty cool.He caught my attention real quick too. That Sith Inquisitor can give Malgus a run for his meatiness! ...although he would ultimately lose. Who are you talking about? I see a Jedi Consular in the set but no Sith Inquisitor. That name alone sounds wicked cool though. Quote
Maverick2k1 Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 That hammerhead design reminds me of a Terran cruiser from starcraft. Quote
Celes Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 That hammerhead design reminds me of a Terran cruiser from starcraft. And it also has grey and red colors. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 And it also has grey and red colors. Hey yeah! Now that you mention it, this looks like a cross between a Terran Battlecruiser and a Republic Frigate. Quote
Alcarin Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I never understood how can you like the minifig with that HORRID cape (sith inquisitor one on the pic) I mean it is SOOO oversized and ugly... Quote

sadowsk1 Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I'm looking forward to this set for sure. I am a huge fan of the expanded universe. Quote
Studebricker Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Yessssss, more Old Republic ships -- I'm in for a couple! Quote

Different strokes for different folks. People probably think Boromir sucks too with his ugly orange hair. It's all in what you like and are into. This ship personally for me, does nothing. I never played the game, know nothing about the characters. Ergo, it eases my wallet for other sets, fortunately. Quote

He does look like a Sith Inquisitor made from pure awesome sauce. Quote

I think you got me a little wrong i understand each has its own likes but hood is BIGGER than half of LEGO helmets.... thats what is wrong in my book... How can pure cotton that goes directly over head be bigger and sturdier than a plate helmet... illogical and not in size compared to minifig size. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted May 12, 2013 Author Posted May 12, 2013 I knew I saw this design in Lego from somewhere! Check out this CUUSOO project for a Corellian Defender; it was started on February 28th of 2012. Look awful familiar? Quote

I don't get it -- are you guys talking about the hood? I don't see a cape anywhere. they've used that hood forever though. Quote
dunkers97 Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 The set is definitely going to end up in my collection! Quote
kerrmando Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I'm not overawed by it. I'll buy a couple though! Quote
