kishidan69 Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Well........so much for that faint glimmer of hope for Australia standing their ground. They will be schooled well today by Sanchez and his boys. Quote

rubysue74 Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Wow. No Buffon in goal for Italy. Didn't know they even had other keepers in Italy. Quote
Crustybeaver Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Sirigu is a good goalkeeper, but Buffon is a leader and is a big loss for Italy Quote
Bold-Arrow Posted June 14, 2014 Author Posted June 14, 2014 Is he out for the entire tournament? I read he twisted his ankle yesterday Quote
rubysue74 Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Is he out for the entire tournament? I read he twisted his ankle yesterday So far just today. They announced it on the pre-game coverage of the Colombia/Greece match. It didn't sound that serious from what I read last night, but apparently bad enough to keep him out. Quote

rubysue74 Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Good stuff. Rooting hard for CR. Watched them a few times against US in qualifying (the much talked about snow game!) & I'm also anti-Luis Suarez (no offense Liverpool/Uruguay fans). Yes, I know he's good, but hard to get passed his antics. Quote
