Snarkie Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Brazil got a free pass to the round of 8, where I think they'll be eliminated. They played poorly, nothing like the Brazil of previous World Cups. And a questionable referee. Sad Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker I think they will get a free pass to at least the semis, if not, the final. Remember South Korea in 2002? The host nation always has bias referees helping them Quote

I marked them for elimination as in the round of 8 they'll have to play whoever ends up in second place in group D, assuming that this team beats the winner of group C. Quote

The host nation always has bias referees helping them The Koreas tend to always luck out with stuff like that. In 2006, North Korea got a goal against France that was not even close to a goal. I though Brazil was decent yesterday, but Croatia's keeper has to play better. A piss poor performance from him. Really let Brazil off the hook. Quote
Sauromosis Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I do think that flop and PK was terrible. Why can't there be video replay, especially on penalty kicks? I would like video replay on offsides as well. Isn't the most important thing an accurate and honest result? Quote

Miami Bomb Squad Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Was very disappointed in the opening match. All 4 goals were lame and defendable. Let's hope for some intensity today. Quote

M4x18 Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 When RVP is healthy he is in the top 3 of forwards. Again, when he is healthy. Quote

boliramirez Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 The referee really sucked in Mexico's game they anulled two legitimate goals...... next step.... beat Brazil..... Again..... Quote
kishidan69 Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 The Netherlands have pretty much sealed their spot in the Round of 16 now, with that goal difference against Spain. 1 Quote
kishidan69 Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 He's still got it... He's definitely got it - watching the replays now, twice he's kept a cool head, beaten 2 defenders and casillas to hammer it in. A luxury for Van Gaal to have him, RVP and Sneijder at his disposal. 1 Quote
