Yes, i was discussing that very thing today with a Lego Store employee. When i asked him if he knew what would be on sale, he said they usually don't tell them until a few days before. Don't know how truthful that is but i wish they would let us know so i can budget accordingly.

...that is also the answer I got when I went to the store asking about it... we'll have have to wait a bit longer til 'someone' leak what it could be...

Ecto-1 ?

Available in June, 2 weeks earlier for VIPs ?

This i what I am hoping for.

And I really hope  (and think) Lego will release a major Batman set to commemorate the 75th anniversary at some point this year.

That makes a lot of sense since Lego allows VIP members to purchase a set two weeks before it is released to the public. I guess we will have to wait until that day or until there is more information available.

Not sure how reliable Road & Track's info is, but according to the second paragraph it will be the Ecto-1 in May:

"The Lego Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary ECTO 1 that we showed you...In May, you'll be able to order it from Lego.com."

That's still cool but a UCS Tumbler would have been wicked

X-wing on sale would be awesome, but what are the chances???

B-wing was discounted because it was (and still is, there are still many of them in my local LEGO shop) unpopular. That is not the case with the X-wing. It was slightly discounted on Black Friday together with SC and I wouldn't count on a higher discount than that. As I remember it was 15% or something around that.

For LEGO sharply discounting exclusive sets is highly unlikely. B-wing was an exception, a dud for LEGO basically.

Thanks for sharing the link. I don't know how reliable their information is, but I hope it is right because I want to buy this set.

For those that purchased during the last May the 4th event, are the only deals they offer in store? or did they have online deals as well?

Thanks

Yes, the same deals are usually online as well.  The big one last year was the UCS B-Wing for $100.

Well, lets hope for more goodies then. An X-Wing would be awesome to build. Wish I didn't miss out on those B-Wings though...

This just in, the May the 4th discount promo will be on 75013 MHC, at 50% off retail. Heard it from a credible lego store employee.

Yeah, that would be disappointing. $25 for a set you just got for $15, I'd probably still order 3 for darth revan but its no b-wing.

Very shrewd of Target to dump their stock before the 5/4th promo hits, knowing the set really wouldn't move after the LEGO Shop at Home deal. I bet TLG is who put the brakes on the Target deal? We know they can dictate prices with exclusives, which this technically would be? Interesting none the less.
