Upnya Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 What is the going rate for bulk LEGO bricks? If I were to offer someone $3/lb would that be an insult? Is there any money to be made in re-selling these? Thanks! Quote
Jeff Mack Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Have you taken a look at our Bulk LEGO listings? Basically just pick the weight you are looking to buy/sell and you can see what people are paying on eBay for these weights. You can also filter by specific types of sets/colors that they listed. You will see some price difference based on the sets they seller says is included in the bulk. http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/bulkdata.cfm Quote

Is there any money to be made in re-selling these? Thanks!I just PM'd you and $3 a pound for garage sale LEGO bricks is fair. It's at least a starting point. Clean bricks with no garbage is maybe worth a bit more. Sorting the bricks by type and color can double the price. Gray/grey/translucents are very expensive. Quote
LarryM Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 For comparison purposes, one pound of new Lego bricks purchased at the Clubhouse at Legoland California costs $39.96!!!!! That was one week ago today. These were ordinary pieces, not unusual or special colors or elements. Quote
