Brick Lady Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I just wanted to say hey to everyone! I just got out of my dark ages last year. I'm a work at home mama. I have three little ones under the age of four and an amazing husband that doesn't make fun of my new hobby! I'm currently working on flipping CL and yard sale finds to buy the more expensive sets. Excited to build with my little ones in the future! Quote
justafrog Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Welcome! Always nice to see another female type wander in! Quote
Doofy McGee Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Welcome aboard! Having an agreeable spouse certainly does make this easier! I got lucky in that area too! 1 Quote
exciter1 Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Welcome! It sounds like you have a great method for dabbling in the LEGO world again. Quote
weakside Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 How do you find time for Lego when you have sandwiches to make, laundry to do and babies to take care of?! I'm kidding Welcome aboard and good luck with GL/yard sales. Nice to have a hobby/interests and I'm sure your kids will be happy it's Lego and not something else. Quote

I really only get a hour or two after the kids are in bed. Gotta love bedtime! Quote

Migration Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Welcome. And it's nice to see y'all spelled correctly, "ya'll" drives me nuts. 1 Quote
Doofy McGee Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Psst! Is she still reading over your shoulder? That's hilarious. I actually really did get lucky though. We have a three bedroom house, and she gave my a whole bedroom to run my hobby/shop out of. And naturally, it has spilled over into our bedroom as well. Lol. She is a pretty good sport about it 95% of the time. (Of course, it doesn't hurt that my earnings pay the rent each month.) Quote
Jimking23 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I also have a great wife, that enjoys teasing me about my "Lego problem". I tell her I shouldn't be cheated out of all the good wife jokes, just because I have a good one. Quote

TheOrcKing Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Welcome! Hooray for SAHMs!Shows how thick I am, it took until now before I realized what your abbreviation actually meant. When I looked it up, what I found was the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine. No lie. Anyway, three cheers for loving mothers everywhere! 1 Quote

My wife was just talking to me yesterday about possibly moving to a 3-bedroom apartment so I could have a Lego room! Gotta love it when the spouses are supportive! =) Quote
