ISO8T0
My bet for 50% off set for May the 4th. AT-AP-75043 although LEGO Shop at Home did do a $200 set last year.
Guest TabbyBoy
LOL - 9515 The Malevolence. Favourite set, my arse! This is the most under performing post EOL set that I've seen and regrettably own. This will be the set with the biggest discount I think as it's hated Worldwide.
exciter1
If you guys want to giggle at the craziness, I dug up last year's May 4th thread last night. 2013 - LEGO May the 4th US Specials!!!
ISO8T0
perhaps Ed can put this on the front page of this thread.
nir4life
I could definitely use a nice sale on the RED FIVE since I don't have any yet and I need a few of those at least. If that DS is on sale as well I might have to bite on those too!
ISO8T0
still want a B-wing.
zskid00
still want a B-wing. I'll sell you one of mine for MSRP. Deal?
No More Monkeys
My bet for 50% off set for May the 4th. AT-AP-75043 although LEGO Shop at Home did do a $200 set last year. AT-AP is too new. AT-TE would be more likely. But yeah, the nail-biting suspense of whether or not they going to go all b-wing on us ...

That is a very perceptive guess. Is the force with you? I always look at the AT-AP (I have the AT-TE) and think of the AT-AP, yeah, ok, maybe I'll buy that one later and never do, there is always something better than it to buy. trekgate502
Exciting news I just heard - a special surprise 90% off sale for May the 4th - The Lone Ranger sets will be 90% off, no limit on purchases. Lego just found 2 more warehouses of them. Though this won't help the 5 warehouses full Toys R US has of them. Surely the force will be needed to empty the warehouses. (take it easy on me, it is a joke)

I think we get 15% off the exclusives like Lego UK is doing.

TLC might be trapped by "no discounts on exclusives" US policy. I wonder if they would choose cowardly way out and bundle them with gift cards... No More Monkeys
Hmm, weird... was Red Five always "limit 2" at SAH? DS and R2D2 are both "limit 5"
ISO8T0
I think you may have uncovered the treasure. ;-)
isocleas
Yeah I think you may have something here. Why would the least popular star wars exclusive be limited to 2 and the rest are 5. This is a classic Chewbacca defense.

No More Monkeys
...so you don't buy them all before May 4th. R2D2 is priced lower than Red Five. why not protect that one? R2D2 is certainly no ship... well, unless you toss it real hard in space

Stevenplays
I think that if we see another B-Wing moment, it would be R2 or the Red Five X-Wing, heck, I'ld even accept a 25% off either of them. Or maybe buy one Death Star and get $100 off any other UCS! *reads fine print* (OFFER DOES NOT INCLUDE DEATH STAR)

naf
I'll put my money on no UCS sets being discounted. People will buy them just to get Darth Revan, so why would they discount further? Plus it goes against their new policy on exclusives. I hope I eat crow on this because I'd love to see some discounts, but I don't see it happening. From the other hand, they mentioned word "sale", and have this suspicious list of their "favorites" And if we are allowed to refer to numerology on this site, last year there were 12 sets on sale, with 1 of the 12 being on supersale. Yes, list of "favorites" has exactly 12 items.
