Walmart had these in their summer clearance for $12 a few months ago where I live, and I think nationally if I remember some of the posts during that time correctly. I was fortunate to get 31 at that price. This was the only set that I was literally buying every single one at all of my walmarts during that time. I have always liked it, and look forward to some good profit in a couple years. My son has one and it really is a solid build and great looking set.

Oh yes, that was a good sale. They also had $46 Unexpected Gatherings at that time.

I have one on the giant used lot I bought. I think the Wonder Woman fig will make this set worth getting!

Store pickup option might be available. Unfortunately it's not that reliable, I was just at one this morning that showed sold out and they had one on the shelf. So YMMV.

You can get it for $12 on Target's ebay store, but the $4.99 shipping does not combine, it just multiplies

I picked up one yesterday. 10% off + 20% on Super Hero lego, so I got it for just under $15.

I totally agree this is a great set even without having watched the movie.

I got it solely because it has the 3 iconic figures in one set. Never had a Superman until this set. And I believe this is the only set to contain Wonderwoman.

I believe this set will do really well as it will probably be the only incarnation of the comics version of Superman and WonderWoman unless Lego has the DC License for years to come.

 

Both will probably be in a Batman vs Superman movie set, but they will be in weird movie costumes that are less popular like the Man of Steel Superman minifigures.

Hey guys,

Being in Australia I don't tend to look into the super hero market seeing as we get prices a little steeper than the USA (to put it lightly  ). So I recently have been looking around and saw a couple 6862 for a little under the retail price here (around $30USD). It has from what I can gather three exclusive figures, still cheapish and EOL. To me this seems like an absolute winner down the line with some of the most iconic characters in the comic book world only in this set. Just wondering what everyone else has been thinking about this set and if anyone has an itching feeling about this set like me?

I too think it`s a decent set. $25 MSRP up here, $20 MSRP in the US. Definitely worth it for what you get. Even given your market, I`d pick them up at that price. Certain to make some money down the line, and like you said, buy in is "cheapish"

Outstanding set. Should provide some solid gains down the line. I lucked out and got 31 at $12/each this past summer, so I am banking on making some good $ in a couple of years.

I bought 10 today for 22 Euro each and I guess if supply dwindles, I will get about 50 Euro each. So this is a 100%. Would have been better to get the set at 10-14 Euro but as time passes you have to pay more...

I have 4 of these and this has been one of my favorite super hero sets. Great pricepoint for 2 awesome mini figs (and lex).

 

I'd like to have 10 of them but am finding it hard to locate this set at a decent price point.

 

Anyone have a good place to pick up about 6 more?

This is a piece of junk. I see this on sale all the time at about 17.99USD, not wasting my money on this when other sets can be had.
