Guest Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Has anyone noticed that the Tower Bridge and Haunted House are not in the LEGO January 2014 & Spring 2014 catalogs! Could this be a sign of EOL? 1 Quote
glucapg Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 They are in the new catalog in the US. Amen Quote

redeemed763 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 For reference, a LOT of sets don't appear in various catologs, it is one of the worst ways to determine EOL dates IMO. 5 Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Yeah especially with how many big sets there are now, there just isn't enough room in the catalouges. TB wasn't in one of the catalouges last year. Quote
Inzane Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I hate how the US always gets a big fat catalog and the Canadian version is about half as thick. As usual Canada gets 1 Quote
ponyboy9595 Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 TB is unavailable at Target, WM and TRU ship to home. FYI Quote
No More Monkeys Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 It will really depend on the codes. There is great song about the codes... Quote
gregpj Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 It will really depend on the codes. How come you don't have the troll award? Looks like you've got room for one more to round it out to a nice 4-per row. Quote
Mos_Eisley Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 If keepin' it real = troll, then by all means give me that badge! 1 Quote
GhostDad Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Haunted House has not been in the last two or three catalogs, and its associated theme (Monster Fighters) is long gone. I would expect it to go EOL at any time. Tower Bridge is trickier, but has been around as long as GE and also not featured in the last several catalogs. I do think that appearing (or not) in the catalog is one sign worth paying attention to; it's just not definitive by itself. Still, as emazers and others have pointed out, if you wait for the "retiring soon" badge to appear, more often than not you'll be at least a few months too late to buy at or below retail... 1 Quote

newbie77 Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Kingdoms Joust isnt in the catalogue but its still around after its line was long gone! this also means that not all exclusives and/or hard to find sets are going to do well Quote
No More Monkeys Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 TB is at "ships in 30 days" at LEGO Shop at Home. Planning another run? Quote
shudameister Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Kingdoms Joust isnt in the catalogue but its still around after its line was long gone! It could be they made too many and haven't sold enough. Too much supply not enough demand. Lego could have stopped production of them ages ago but they still have warehouses filled with this set and thus just letting it slowly sell. Quote
buidee Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 None of my three close Lego stores in Southern Cal carry HH or TB either. They told me the only way to order them is through their website. Quote
Neosphinx Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 I don't think they will last til halloween Quote

Crustybeaver Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 I think they've held HH stock back so they've got some to sell at Halloween. Quote
