El Guapo Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 So I recently placed two orders with amazon and walmart.com. Both have tracking that says that the packages were delivered but I never received anything. Do I have any recourse? The carrier on both instances was the USPS...just wondering if any other's had a similar experience and what the best way to get results is. Thanks! Quote

I had a similar issue one time and tracked down the postal worker who remembered delivering my package to the neighbor's house. 2 Quote
justafrog Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Absolutely go immediately to your post office with the relevant data and ask to speak to the postmaster and to the carrier who scanned your packages "delivered". You either have an incompetent carrier or a mail thief. If the former, you need the postmaster's help in retraining him. If the latter, you need to file a police report and find a different address for your deliveries, or a locked package delivery receptacle, etc. The merchants may or may not be willing to cover your loss this once, but they will not continue doing so, so it's something to take care of on your end. 1 Quote

Yes, I'm not a big fan of putting one on my front porch, either, but if the choice is that or have packages stolen regularly, I'd do it. Quote
