kman223 Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 He's asking $600. Has the instructions and boxes for most of the sets. Here's that ad....what do you guys think? Over 100lbs of assorted Legos (I think around 100-115). Within the lot are tons of sets of various types. Most of them have manuals and minifigures. If manuals on list are repeated, it means that they are multiples and there are that many of that type of set.The set manuals I have found are:72647252714172597260726362087654765662077262725072557674765680147654767272597663767377434492696749537139810277417893489472587942774348957257725888744895810577727713489349538100489377758801777344138876450179427113777681037774887788024745 Quote
gregpj Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Have you tried this? http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/lego_lot_price_calculator.cfm Quote
kman223 Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 I did..and came out pretty good. the only real issue is all the legos are jumbled together. Some are partially put together, so I see a lot of sorting in my future. if I decide to jump on this. Quote

tonysbricks Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I would avoid for a couple reasons. 1, 600 to make 1800? The amount of time and bricklinking you will need to do to make that 1800 is tons on 100lbs and 300% paper profit is not worth it. 2, big cities are very competitive. If this was a smoking deal it would be gone by the time you asked if you should buy it. Quote
nolanfan34 Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Seattle in particular is really tough, I know from living here. :-( I'd want to see pictures of minifigs first. The amount of time needed to sort that is immense. Even getting 25% of those sets to 100% complete will be tough, trust me. I'd pass. Quote
kman223 Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 Thanks for the help! Still not sure what I'm going to do yet. Quote
kman223 Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 I'm planning on it if i go check the set out Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Does it bother you to sort? It bothers me so it has to be serious money. I only buy these if I want the majority of the sets to build. Quote
kman223 Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 No, I've already dug through some big sets. nothing this large though. Quote
