smuddger Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 I have just sold a crystal skull set on bricklink to someone in Russia. I do not discriminate buyers with low ratings or by country. However I am having real trouble finding anyone to ship this item from the uk to Russai. Any help would be good???? Quote
StarCityBrickCompany Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 First off - The fact that no-one wants to be responsible for shipping it there does tell you something. If you must ship a more expensive item there, get signature confirmation & Insurance. Quote

If you can find a shipping option, it might be so costly that the buyer could request that you cancel the transaction. Quote
hxckid88 Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 given the current state of the country, I would avoid shipping to Russia like the plague Quote
Guest TabbyBoy Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 I avoid shipping to Russia due to high customs charges that often upset the buyer. Only exclude Russia, South Korea & Africa so far. Quote
smuddger Posted March 12, 2014 Author Posted March 12, 2014 My gut feeling is telling me to cancel the sale shame too got a good price for it Quote
teeth Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 UK's postal system refuses to ship to Russia? I'm considering excluding Russia and Brazil. Things take forever to get there. Quote
imirish11 Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 This is a stretch, but there is always the option to find a U.S. seller on eBay with the item, whom also ships to Russia under the Global Shipping Program, and have the item dropshipped to your customer. Cost permitting. Quote
