Ciglione Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Hello fellow bricksmen, I am a dutchman living in Germany. Came out of the dark age a couple of months ago and started collecting at first and now I am into investing as well. My bank account is bleeding and my wife complaining. Hopefully this will change once i start to get some profits from my lego investments. My question is: Can anyone give me a short but thorough explanation on how selling on ebay works? I know there are a lot of posts already on this forum but somehow I still do not get it. Or maybe it is just me. Also some pro's and con's for selling on ebay are welcome. I started to sell on regional websites but with little success. Thanks in advance. Ciglione Quote
Bernard74 Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Welkom! I have yet to start selling myself, but there are a couple of blogs in the Lego Brickvesting section on the site about how to sell an ebay. Hope they help. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met behulp van Brickpicker Quote
glucapg Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Hello to another european follower just a curiosity: why "ciglione"? I ask you because in italian "ciglione" means "man with big eyelashes" Quote
Ciglione Posted March 12, 2014 Author Posted March 12, 2014 @Bernard74: Thank you. I already have read alot. I just want to be sure to choose the right selling platform I guess. I get a bit blurred with all the fees and especially the shipping costs is something that is not clear to me. @glucapg: You are right! My wife calls me that. @MartinP: Thanks! 1 Quote

imperial_peter Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Im glad my wife is so awesome!! At times you can see in her face that im pushing it spending to much on lego (3 3/4 and gg Jumbos!!) lol. But if we can afford it she is usually cool with it! Im trying to persuade her into taking a big step into investing a lot more into lego and hopefully in the next year or so it is something we can do together ;) We already own one business together so why not get another on the side during the winter? Welcome to the boards, I have relatives in Germany, my cousins speak like 6 languages each!! its crazy Peter Quote
