Going through a bulk lot I came across this little gem.

For those that don't know, it's a 25th Anniversary chrome brick from this freestyle bucket #3027 from 1998

I had it as a child (well still do if I ever get back home to retrieve all my LEGO).  Many a castle garrison fought to the last man to defend this valuable brick.  Quite a few spaceships used it at the heart of their reactor.  And many a desperate pirate tried to escape from the colonies with it.

This just brought so many joyous memories to life and reminded me why LEGO is so amazing.  The creative spark that a single 2x4 brick can bring is a testament to a million memories and countless creations.

Anyway, thought everyone might find it slightly interesting.
