No More Monkeys
You guys are incredibly lucky! I still haven't even score a measly one.... Well, we were asking for trouble. Now we are fighting for scraps, and are having to accept totally busted boxes, when they were available just months ago..

TheBrickClique
Well, if anybody in the Sacramento area wants to work out a trade for a "less than mint HH" for something else that's getting hard to find from the exclusive lineup, send me a message. trekgate502
Yeah one of my 2 orders from 10/10 of Town Halls at 2 each was just shipped from Walmart. It is in one 20 lb box so that is hopeful. But they sent it FedEx Smartpost. Interesting the USPS will deliver a box that size.
amtrak23
USPS ships stuff a lot larger than that. Think the size of a small pony.
trekgate502
Its just odd to me. I receive lots of shipments of all sizes every year of all kinds of things but never anything that big via USPS.
amtrak23
Thats because most shippers are smarter than wm team of turds. If it's biggerish and heavyish it will almost always be much cheaper via ups/FedEx. Smartpost and its counterpart are Charles Barkley turrible. I'd bet money that they just slapped a label on the casepack, which really isn't that big if a package.
Young_Gun21
I use Fedex Smartpost and it's great. Decent amount cheaper to since you don't have to pay for delivery. It's all personal preference but I like it.
trekgate502
Yeah my order of 2 Grand Emporiums from Sunday night overnight has shipped from Walmart and in one box. Also my 2nd order of 2 Town Halls from Walmart that had the 10 day delay notice has now moved to processing with an expected arrival date. Perhaps I will be 3 for 3 of them shipping these in the original Lego boxes.
MTG/LEGO
I use Fedex Smartpost and it's great. Decent amount cheaper to since you don't have to pay for delivery. It's all personal preference but I like it. Is it better then FedEx ground? I sent a tumbler today across the country in 24/24/8 box and 11 pounds with 3$ signature and insurance total cost was 20$. I see the FedEx smartpost but have never seen it or used it before. Thanks for any help!
cladner
ordered 6 Tumblers yesterday am from WB store. 4 single orders went through. one order of 2 Tumblers triggered some fraud protection which stopped the order in its tracks and cost me those 2 tumblers - 4 is better than none (but not as good as 6 - arggghhhhhh....). all orders had the same name, shipping to my home billing address, had 2 different credit cards - wasn't my bank or cc company that stopped it - was WB's own internal mechanism. something to keep in mind if I ever order anything from there again. zskid00
My order of 2x Town Hall from Target.com arrived yesterday and they shipped them in the original case and even double boxed it, which was nice since the shipping box was pretty beat up. Both sets are in excellent condition.

brickelements
My TH from Target arrived yesterday. Huge shipping box. Banged up. I was ready to get in the car and take it directly to my local target to open it in front og them requesting a discount. Much to my surprise the TH box was quite nice...small dent on the bottom backside of the box. Front is near pristine. Quite happy with the purchase. biking_tiger
Received a Pet Shop from Target yesterday--the shipping box was 3x too big, but filled with air pillows and the actual Pet Shop in perfect condition. I have two THs scheduled for delivery from Target today... we shall see how they look.

BrickLegacy
Target did the same thing with my haunted houses. Huge boxes but with sufficient air padding. Most of them arrived in very good condition.
