Pseudoty
Talk about a “Shelf Warmer” my Target UCS Hulkbuster arrived in an outer target shipping box with an inner Lego factory box. One side of the Lego box was filthy from 9/2022 TBD original run set. I had box 1 of 20 so the invoice was attached with 20 set stickers with a purge date of 3/2024 so I guess Target needed to get these out of their system. The actual set box is minty perfect will be interesting if this set ever makes it back above MSRP.
raindog
I received two Coruscant Guard Gunships today from Macy's. For those wondering how they ship, they shipped these two large sets together in a large poly mailer, ala Kohls. Luckily there was only a few marks on the boxes. I won't be ordering from Macy's again.

mplsabdullah
Received my Mario block order from the vipoutlet deal posted several days back on here. It was shipped from Walmart. The shipping box is fone however the actual set box is smashed and ripped open on one side.

Good for a personal build or no box, sealed bags item to sell, but the advice to check the contents when you get the item is spot on. I’ve had good luck and only had to return one set. Thank you for the information. They really shouldn't have this in the description then: “BRAND NEW” retail ready condition and in original packaging. On another note I received my lego order quickly by Thursday already however they didn't include the troop carrier. Contacted them and thankfully a replacement has been shipped. scatttcat
Funny story about the 31136/31144 Parrot Placed a pickup for x3 of these at Target today for the sale (looking for the pink version obviously). I swing by but decide to shop first before doing the pickup. Went to the lego aisle and saw like... 10 of the blue parrot. I immediately thought that my 3 pick-ups would then of course be blue and was irked. I went to pick them up, and nope, they handed me x3 pink ones. So are blue and pink BOTH carried in Targets? Blue is everywhere including Target, pink is only at Target, Legoland and Lego online. Exact same build just different color elements none are exclusive to the set. Huskers1236
Received both of my SAH orders on Tuesday, and had a first happen. I got the wrong items in my order. Ordered a Ghost/Phantom Menace Bhdz/Cody Bhdz along with the GWPs and received instead the Ghost/2 Cody Bhdz/501st Battle Pack. The CS agent was nice as always and is sending the proper Phantom Menace Bhdz set, but I'd never received the wrong order from Lego before. Also ordered the UCS AT-AT, but they managed to get that monster correct.

I only did 2 orders and both arrived perfect with all of the GWPs and the extra coin. Edited May 9 by Pseudoty

thegraverobber
Quick question. I usually go to the LEGO store for big Day 1 releases, but the amount of sets releasing tomorrow and the possibility of long lines has me debating going online instead. How long does it typically take LEGO to ship and deliver a set like Barad Dur on release day (assuming it’s ordered In Stock and not Backordered)? Anyone ever have issues with the GWP for In Stock orders?

Anyone ever have issues with the GWP for In Stock orders? Your mileage may vary but the last few big releases when just ordering one big set it seemed like Lego had some of these prepackaged and shipped them pretty quickly with Lightning Ship ontrac and I got them in about a week sometimes less. This was the case for me with the medeival market and the cantina on May the fourth. Edited May 31 by Billy Brick

I looked on Amazon and it had only 100 sales in the last month where like even the icons cars had 500-2k. I’m a side note does Amazon not list sales ranking on all sets? I thought I remember seeing stats for everything before and now just to be on select items.

Air pillows and hot days are not a good mix. I order singles hoping to get FF boxes. Sometimes Amazon will combine single orders and throw 3 FF boxes into 1 larger box. Target and BB just smash the sets in to make them fit. 51 minutes ago, Billy Brick said: That doesn’t bode well for sales velocity, and maybe more and deeper sales coming. Kinda hard though when YouTubers are putting out buy alert videos on Eldorado. I said previously like a year ago that none of the nostalgia sets: Galaxy Explorer, Lion Knights Castle, or Eldorado would do well because of their limited target audience. https://www.lego.com/en-us/categories/adults-welcome/article/vintage-lego-sets-from-childhood Edited July 9 by Pseudoty

I have been collecting Mtron and Ice Planet figs, but have now come across numerous untouched boxes of them which I think will hit clearance now. Also when you compare El Dorado to Barracuda Bay which was 15$ less the value is not great. For what it's worth I am still grabbing these sets because worse case scenario I will enjoy them /:) – Just picked up some more Eldorado today from Target. Captain_Obvious
2 hours ago, Billy Brick said: I think the group of us that care about Lego nostalgia is diminishing So true it hurts. I feel like there’s some hope with the BL Designer program cranking out classic hits ($$$). Based on a recent interview with a BL LEGO rep, it looks like we may get some smaller sets ($$) that are hopefully nostalgic too. Worried we won’t see anymore classics in the main line or GWP/Insider lanes. However, we still got this bad boy in the pipeline: https://ideas.lego.com/challenges/7c37425a-7cc4-4188-b3bf-a43316396101/application/d4c685ed-0117-4ec4-a702-16664f351f22

Out of all the nostalgia sets this one would have benefited from a lower price point. Kids aren’t really into space nowadays so I get why the Galaxy Explorer flopped despite a great price point. Lion Knights Castle is just too expensive.
gmpirate
Ugh. Just received one of my deliveries from Target. Ordered 3x El Dorado and 3x Cody but only received 2x El Dorado. I hate to call or fill out online form but at that price point I will. Since they are currently out of stock I figure its best to do it next week after their promotion and they show stock again. NIevo
I received 1 Corvette and 1 Eldorado today. Corvette was great, Eldorado was completely smashed on the side with no packing material and the seals totally ripped. I too will have to wait till back in stock😕
Phil B
Received my BDP Series 1 Train Engine Shed today. Nice BL branded box inside a "ready to ship" shipper inside a large outer brown cardboard "plain" LEGO box. Couldn't be more minty fresh.
Captain_Obvious
Don’t mean to beat a dead horse here… BOX QUEENS: are the new BL boxes comparable to a normal LEGO box: thick cardboard, structurally sound, etc? -I'll be home in a few hours to find out for myself, but I’d like to soften the blow if needed

My last shipment arrives today, snack shack x2 and I will post a picture but saw on FB someone’s arrived demolished.
