When the associate arrived he paused, looked down at the set in a closed bag a read a note that said "this isn't exactly the item you ordered, so we gave you a different one instead." He handed me an Arctic Ice Crawler 60109. Me: "This isn't a calendar" Associate: "True, but it has ice and it is Legos." Me: "Lego" Associate: "What?" Me: "So I'm guessing because it has ice you thought, what . . . winter?" Associate: "You want it?" Me: "No, but I'm going to make you listen to me for the next five minutes as I discuss the problem of phantom stock in your store, because I think I found a new reason why the tracker is off." 1 3 1 Quote
Phil B Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Went to Barnes & Noble today to pick up the single architecture Studio set that I bought using the codes yesterday. There was a note at the register with my name on it saying they accidentally pressed yes on my order and that they didn't have the item in stock. It took a while to convince her but finally the manager got me one shipped from the Mansfield Ohio store, arriving mid next week. Phew.Pro tip: for anyone close to Mansfield, there are several more in that store. Quote

Verification team will let me pick up at one store but seems to fail everything I order elsewhere. ETA: Guest checkout orders showed as still processing when I switched browsers.
