My order status

Recommended Posts

Got my Tie from Amazon today, even though the tracker on the Amazon website says it is still being processed.  Shipping container was badly damaged and so was the Tie box.  Creased, dented, and with a two inch hole in one corner.  Talking to Amazon support right now.

Tell them I said "Hi".

Only if I want them to send my replacement box in the shredder!!! :D

Since the system says the box hasn't even left their warehouse yet, they can't do anything about it.  Developing....

Tie Fighter.  Amazon 34R5.  Was so excited to see it arrive by itself in a huge box with no damage to shipping box.  Open top and LOTS of nice paper packing.  Look inside and Front appears mint.  Pull it out to discover creases all over the back and a 2 inch slit on the bottom edge.  Lots of shelf wear, a brickpicker return, or both.  Seals intact.  Amazon Customer Service is great though.

I ordered two for site to store on the sale last week.  (I wasn't going to be around so figured they would hold it for a couple days)  Just picked up my one and it was the horror story of shipping label just slapped on the set.  So needless to say the box is in bad condition.  The other one?  Department manager had no idea what happened to it.  Probably ended up walking off with someone else since they probably stacked one on top of the other, labeled one and shipped both.  Was refunded for that set.  Hopefully Amazon order shows up in a minty box.

Same here - in addition, appears the box was opened and then re-sealed. Is that normal for Amazon?

Mine came exactly like yours. On one side, the seals were diagonal. The box looks ok...if they opened it, what were they looking for? Is the minifig that unique/desired? What are you going to do? I was going to open it tonight "to check" but I know that just means that I'm going to build it and get yelled at by the wifey for building another set instead of selling =)

Lego has resealed so many sets that there's no way to have a list or anything but just know there's dozens and dozens of sets that have been resealed. I would guess that there was a bad bag or the like. You could weigh it to verify...

Anyone else received their Walmart TIEs? Mine have been sitting at "Processing" for at least the past 7 days.

The best place to keep track of this is in the "My Order Status" thread.  I received my store pick-up Ties and there are several other updates in there, including a recent cancellation.

Received mine last Wednesday, but ordered using Site-To-Store, not direct delivery to the house.

Both of my Amazon UCS TIEs and most of my Walmart TIEs have arrived (maybe one still out there somewhere?) ... like a lot of folks, box condition varies.  Many have reported loose seals, retaped seals, etc.  I have also seen this on one of my boxes... (a 23R5 from Walmart) ... seals nice and tight on one end of the box, and quite loose, almost falling off the other end.  I'm going to open that one to check the contents, but I think most of these situations are just old stock... been in a hot warehouse for a long time... seals come loose.
