They always give refund in stores Sure I could, if we have one local to us. Not very convenient when we don't have any in town. Got a response today saying that the returns department classified the item as returned used so they won't issue a refund and they still have my $130 set. Quote

gmpirate Posted Monday at 03:18 PM Posted Monday at 03:18 PM Think I remember some posts a few weeks ago about shorted Walmart orders. I'm wondering what I can expect today. This weekend I finished accounting for all my purchases these last few weeks and I had one order of 20x MF's. My order says I received three boxes of 8 + 8 + 4 but I actually received 4 "large" boxes of only 15 sets. I don't think I've ever had a missing item from Walmart before but $500 is a big number. I placed many big order from them this year and I'm worried something may come of digging into my purchases. One item I wouldn't sweat it, but I can see this being passed up to supervisors. Quote

I figure I lose easily at least 1-2% to shortages and damages for wm. Last year I was able to get a refund for one $200 missing item. A week later tried going after $600 for a switched box where I got another customer's order. It was supposed to be a big 35 lb box and they sent me a small 1 lb box with something I never ordered. Thought it would be a slam dunk but customer service was completely useless and told me to file a chargeback, they wouldn't help me. Basically unless you want to be possibly blacklisted, have to eat it. Another fun cost of doing business. 🤬 If this is your first refund request though, you might get lucky. I wouldn't worry about your order volume raising alarms but jmo. Edited Monday at 04:15 PM by tk79 Quote

NIevo Posted Wednesday at 08:28 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:28 PM So, follow up to my Target debacle. After 1 chat, 2 phone calls and 2 emails with the claims dept they have denied me any resolution, no refund and won't return the item and have also blocked me from purchasing online with the email stating "I would be happier purchasing items in store in the future"! Guess I'll be trying to get ahold of some type of manager next? 1 Quote

NIevo Posted yesterday at 01:06 AM Posted yesterday at 01:06 AM 1 chat 2 emails 6 phone calls Zero resolution. Basically told that this is their decision and it can't be changed. Filed chargeback so we will see how that goes but as of now no money, no item and banned from shopping online. All because they sent me a set that was opened. Quote
gmpirate Posted yesterday at 09:37 AM Posted yesterday at 09:37 AM Unfortunately there are so many scammers nowadays that companies cannot tell the difference. We experience this ourselves as sellers. Quote
BRIX23 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Well this is definitely a first for me! My Orient Express Train set seems to have been replaced by 2 Sonic UV toothbrush sanitizers. Nothing seems suspicious about the box (doesn't appear opened/re-taped). I was home when delivered too. Somehow I still got the gwp ballerina. Pretty much how things have been going lately. Just sucks. 3 2 Quote

Little heat gun action and the tape comes off np. Quote

Box with OE and GWP should be around 4KG Quote
Matt's Stacks Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I have a few orders of Ecto 1's purchased from Target on 11/22 that are still backordered. They have sent me emails requesting approval for a new delayed delivery date now several times. The newest delivery date is now Jan. 7. Do you think it is likely that they will still ship them out? If they have more in the pipeline. IIRC they will auto cancel after 90 days. 1 Quote
Matt's Stacks Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago What exactly feeds the pipeline? Warehouse stock, in-store stock, customer returns? Quote

In this case for this set: Warehouse stock: depleted in-store stock: depleted customer returns: no If Target had incoming shipments from Lego Mexico factory that are in route to California port then they will ship them if and when they arrive. The thing that stinks is in the past the BO expires and then they get the set in and sell them at full price. 1 Quote
Matt's Stacks Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Good to know. Thanks! Hopefully they come in. I did receive a number of them in already, but over half of them arrived shipped individually in the long flat boxes nicely crushed by FedEx. It would be good to get a little more nice boxes in. The ones that have arrived in the best shape for me are the bigger boxes that they shipped 2 or 3 together in. Quote

Box with OE and GWP should be around 4KG OnTrac. 11.67lbs on label. Box and contents feel about 4-5lbs. Surprisingly these toothbrush cleaners have some weight to them. Working with Lego support now. While on hold I started researching OnTrac as I'm not familiar with them. Appears they were bought out by LaserShip not too long ago. I rarely had issues with LaserShip, but most of my orders come via UPS. Reviews on google and reddit for OnTrac are beyond terrible. Many stories of delivery issues and theft. Lego wanted more photos of the box which shed more light on the situation. The bottom of the box definitely has been re-taped. Not sure what happened during it's journey to me, but something seems really off. 1 Quote
