They always give refund in stores Sure I could, if we have one local to us. Not very convenient when we don't have any in town. Got a response today saying that the returns department classified the item as returned used so they won't issue a refund and they still have my $130 set. Quote

gmpirate Posted Monday at 03:18 PM Posted Monday at 03:18 PM Think I remember some posts a few weeks ago about shorted Walmart orders. I'm wondering what I can expect today. This weekend I finished accounting for all my purchases these last few weeks and I had one order of 20x MF's. My order says I received three boxes of 8 + 8 + 4 but I actually received 4 "large" boxes of only 15 sets. I don't think I've ever had a missing item from Walmart before but $500 is a big number. I placed many big order from them this year and I'm worried something may come of digging into my purchases. One item I wouldn't sweat it, but I can see this being passed up to supervisors. Quote

I figure I lose easily at least 1-2% to shortages and damages for wm. Last year I was able to get a refund for one $200 missing item. A week later tried going after $600 for a switched box where I got another customer's order. It was supposed to be a big 35 lb box and they sent me a small 1 lb box with something I never ordered. Thought it would be a slam dunk but customer service was completely useless and told me to file a chargeback, they wouldn't help me. Basically unless you want to be possibly blacklisted, have to eat it. Another fun cost of doing business. 🤬 If this is your first refund request though, you might get lucky. I wouldn't worry about your order volume raising alarms but jmo. Edited Monday at 04:15 PM by tk79 Quote

NIevo Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago So, follow up to my Target debacle. After 1 chat, 2 phone calls and 2 emails with the claims dept they have denied me any resolution, no refund and won't return the item and have also blocked me from purchasing online with the email stating "I would be happier purchasing items in store in the future"! Guess I'll be trying to get ahold of some type of manager next? 1 Quote

NIevo Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago 1 chat 2 emails 6 phone calls Zero resolution. Basically told that this is their decision and it can't be changed. Filed chargeback so we will see how that goes but as of now no money, no item and banned from shopping online. All because they sent me a set that was opened. Quote
gmpirate Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Unfortunately there are so many scammers nowadays that companies cannot tell the difference. We experience this ourselves as sellers. Quote
