this is happening for me as well. says the same thing, awaiting USPS pickup. I've never had LEGO come through USPS before, only FedEx. Obviously it's a busy time. But 10 days without any movement?
Could they be throttling orders on purpose?

Yes! Once it’s marked shipped they get paid... I currently have 8 orders all marked shipped on 11/30 with no movement. All USPS. Something shady is going on over there in Romeoville, IL

Worth a phone call or just wasting my time? Maybe a gentle nudge and some sort of explanation of why they switched carriers? Can’t help but think I already know the answer and that’s to just claim they’ve shipped but as we know USPS is way behind.

maybe it's like the "riverboat" casinos...where they are technically "docked".  I see these all over the midwest.  Anyway, maybe Romeoville has a separate "offsite" location for packages "in transit" but it's just a taped line across their warehouse.

Finally received one of my Nebulon-B from Disney.  Perfect condition, well packed.  A second will be delivered to my store tomorrow.  You can't fault Disney on their packing.

Interesting. Ordered a castle over the summer. They shipped it in a large box with two, maybe three air pillows and it bounced around the entire trip. Guess it’s very YMMV with them.

I purchased two Disney Castles from them at separate times this year.  Both came in the original LEGO shipping box.

ZAVVI:

my two Hidden Side Castles came in a what looks to be a garbage bag wrapped around an oversized outer shipping set-up with Top and bottom sides only. With "Fragile" sticker wrap. Since the top and bottom cardboard were larger than the sets they actually did a decent job of protecting the corners...but without any extra side reinforcement, if it had any boxes stacked on top of it; would have definitely crushed both sets.

Kinda worked.  I'm guess seeing such a tenuous package makes shippers a bit guilty handling it roughly.

other than some packing tape issues the set boxes looks like a 7 out of 10; so not bad.

but obviously YMMV

I was able to unload all of the VIP codes I redeemed for around Black Friday. I was worried nothing good would come back in stock before they expired. I called in right after and got someone within 15 minute, shockingly. She allowed me to apply the $20 phone code that was half off on BF, and I had already applied the $20 online one (total $40 off, not reflected in the email screenshot but updated in my order status page).

Add me to the list of people getting their Walmart order delivered by Door Dash. Wife had the kids in the car on her way out , and the driver told her to hide it from them since it maybe a gift, if she only knew

My approach is camouflage..the boy has no idea which set is his present when 100+ sets come in

I actually don't know either until maybe the night before Christmas...when I start looking at the shelves

My kids would have told her my dad just sells his Lego.. Hint : never let your kid talk to the store cashier ...ever.

My wife told a Target cashier that once.  She got scolded for it when we got out of the store.

My wife looks at the sets on my shelves and asks which one she's giving me for Christmas.  That's also the excuse I give when all the boxes arrive in the mail after black Friday - "I don't know which set you'll be giving me for Christmas, so I had to buy at least one of each before they go OOS."

Lol, my kid just did this at Target last week. Cashier asked if they were gifts and my little girl (7) piped right up before I could say anything, "no, my dad sells Lego". The cashier gave me the stink eye haha. Gonna have to have a talk with her before our next shopping trip.

I honestly have no problem telling a cashier that it is none of her business what I do with my items.  Her job is to check me out, not screen for use.  I miss the days when people minded their own business.  Yes, I am fun at parties.

Last BF order from Target arrived. Rocket Assembly. Seals are not tight. Thoughts?

I have sold them as new, sealed bags, open box.  They sell about as well as new, sealed boxes.  Better than nothing, unless you just want to build it.  I have a Slave-1 with a Europe sticker and stretched seals.  I planned on building one myself so it's the lucky one.
