Phil B Posted September 24, 2016 Share Posted September 24, 2016 Picked up my 2x BWE from FedEx Office just now. Thin flimsy singlewall box used to ship 2 sets. About 40 air packets on top. Box was a mess, collapsed as there was too much open space on top and even the air pouches didn't help, orange Walmart tape was completely ripped. FedEx lady said they added clear tape to at least close the box. Opened it up to find 2 mint box BWEs inside. Hallelujah! And with mint, I mean, as mint as a 20lbs box full of LEGO can be after some warehousing and transportation movement (i.e. maybe a slightly worn edge here or there, but otherwise A+). 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think Amazon tries to ship my orders quickly so they can use ground and not two day. Based on item pages, only some items are actually backordered, but I guess they are going to hold the order until everything is in stock. There has been some discussion of this in the Dimensions thread. I had to log into my account, go to the order, and manually "approve" the new ship dates for each of my items. Looks like they were getting rid of the old stock with the promo. The box is worn and one of the seals is basically off with the other almost there. Going to replace it.
