I've had cases like this as both a seller and a buyer. From PayPal's perspective, if the seller can show the package delivered to your address, you'll lose the case. The only exception I've encountered is if the item required signature confirmation, and that wasn't completed.

PayPal doesn't care if someone stole the package, it got dropped at your neighbor's house accidentally, or a co-worker at your business signs for it. I've lost out on the value of items before, as I have had three packages "marked as delivered"  but not here at my house.

LEGO shop at home took care of me one time and sent out a duplicate shipment at no cost.

A second time PayPal screwed me, but the post office "found it a week later" because it was delivered to a house three doors down from me.

The third time PayPal ruled against me, the seller wouldn't refund me, and the items never showed up.

Ohh man.  Thanks for the info.  Hoping for the best.

Follow up with the postal carrier to see if that tracking is legit. Make sure you tell PayPal that it was only provided after the case was opened so how can it be trusted?

Yeah, I'm planning to do this today at the PO, but overall looks legit from the usps site, although no exact address is provided.  I don't know if maybe there was a misprint on address on Nikkos part or what.  The aggravating thing is it took more than a week of countless emails to newandsealed and opening up the case on paypal against our long haired friend for them to respond with the info?  Does opening a charge back with my credit card even work now if the tracking info is correct? Anyone know.  Thanks in advance to all the experienced sellers and buyers on here.

The chargeback should work. That is there for cases like this - product says delivered but you don't have it. Maybe it was stolen off your steps or delivered to the wrong address.... That's that you also tell the cc company. "I don't know who has my parcel, it was never delivered to me."

As long as you don't have a big history of doing this (or needing to do this) the cc company will likely back you.

So here's my latest update on my ongoing issue with Niko(sunnykart) regarding my delivery.  I went down to my PO and spoke to a supervisor.  He said the package was delivered to the wrong address.  I feel like a smuck for getting upset at Niko, but they took 7 days to get me the tracking info and now I have no idea if the package has been opened or what not, so I'm still not letting them off the hook here.  The supervisor said he would send a courier to the address.  He took my info and I guess I now sit and wait.  I could go down and ask, but 7 days later I feel like they may have opened the package and built it or something lol.   I'm going to wait and see what USPS finds out.  So if USPS is at fault, and this is not an insured item, and the item is not found, does the post office provide any restitution since they are admitting they delivered to the wrong address?

Well you've got me beat 50:1.  I should have gotten (ALOT) more.  Market cornered.

market is not cornered with 250 sets. it has to be lot more than that.. in the range of 1000+ to have market cornered.

don't believe me check amazon listings anybody selling in the range of 20->29,99 are all new sellers for this item with lot from this year ;)

yeah ... new Architecture set have following information at the end:

"This item's packaging will indicate what is inside. To cover it, select Ship in Amazon box on the checkout page."

so if you did not specify to have "amazon box" then they are shipping sets without boxes directly labels on the set....

Good to know - I wondered what the "Amazon box" was about. I'll see how my Buckingham Palace arrives (build only, but still!).

i am most likely guessing here, if your order comes with other items which by defaults were in a box most likely they will ship this in there as well.

but if its by itself and "amazon box is not selected" then they are shipping with label on it. :D

Amazon has been very hit or miss for me recently.  Not necessarily with LEGO but they have been sending me a lot of things in padded envelopes that should be sent in boxes.  They have also been forcing a few things into boxes that are too small to make them fit.  I make sure to leave them packaging feedback on most of my orders to let them know what's going on and have returned a few items that were unacceptable.

I guess the thought process that I pay for a prime membership meant my items would come in freaking shipping box. I guess I assumed too much.  Things really are getting rediculous, when it comes to shipping from any of the major online sites. Target sucks... Walmart sucks.(even my last 3 site to store orders look like Bigfoot threw a dance party on them). TRU sucks.. Kmart definitely sucks. Amazon following trend as of late. Guess all their mentalities are "see how much we can get away with". I have no doubt Amazon will send another one or it will be a freebie, but it's just BS they try to pull the crap. Rant over.

This weekend I was looking at both the Capitol Building and the Buckingham Palace on Amazom. I don't recall which one, but one of the product descriptions said "this item comes in Amazon certified frustration free packaging" which seemed odd at the time.

LOL @ frustration free. WTF! Apparently, Amazon has never called Amazon and spoke to "Mary" with her thick foreign unintelligible accent.

Exactly. The really weird thing is that if you read the "frustration free packaging" webpages, it states that the manufacturers work with Amazon to produce special versions of packaging. I don't see how this is possible in the case of a LEGO set.

LIES! Sounds like what we've been feed for the last 8 years. Ridiculous, twist the words around instead of just speaking honestly.

Frustration Free packaging for LEGO probably means shipped without the outer retail box which has been crushed and beaten so badly you'll want a discount when it arrives, i.e. Open and Verified Contents.

Also, we can now ship in a smaller box so we can fit more items into a single delivery and lower our costs which we don't pass onto you.
