bramp Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Hi, Just saw yesterday, that the 79103 Turtles Lair Attack is on sale at ToysXL in Utrecht. Since this set is climbing in value since november from $40 to $60 in January, would it be worth investing in? My concern is maybe it's overproduced? On the other hand: it's been offered on eBay starting at about Euro 60,- What's your thoughts? Buy in or not? Would it sell for profit with a year? Quote
Dennan Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I would not buy them. Amazon.fr sells them for 1 Quote
glenbart Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I think the TMNT sets are not as popular as star wars or superheroes but they do have a lot going for them. 1) the new movie will attract more buyers 2) to my knowledge you can not get any figures in polybags 3) the theme may not be around for much longer but there is equal chance there will be wave after wave. I don't see rapid growth on the sets but they will rise steadily. Quote
