Toysnbricks is reporting that they are available in Canada. I`ll be checking my local stores this afternoon while I am out in hopes of stumbling across a box or two  I`m out West, so I`ll let you guys know if I find anything.

Is there a checklist of the easiest things to feel for when smooshing yet?  Some seem pretty obvious, but I'd like to go in fully armed so my fat digits have a faster/better chance :D

I haven't found a smoosh list but I can already figure out one just from looking at the list and images.

Barbarian - two swords, Jungle Boy's hair

Scarecrow - pitchfork

Bavarian Lady - pigtail hairpiece, pretzel (if you're used to it from Lederhosen Guy ;))

Evil Mech - armor with angled shoulder pads

Tiki Warrior - javelin, huge concave mask (a lot of grooves across the front)

Gingerbread Man big round flat head with two grooves along the side, coffee mug

Holiday Elf - classic 2 x 2 block and tile, garden gnome esque cap with pointy ears on sides

Yeti - ice pop, headpiece similar to Chewbacca's (very big, all one part, and has many grooves)

Mountain Climber - pickaxe, soft rubbery circle rope

Welder - mask, small cylinder brick

Scientist - two fluted flasks

Saxophone Player - the sax (what else), gangster's fedora hat

Diner Waitress - waiter's oval tray (one open stud on the bottom dead center, flat on top with a slightly beveled edge)

Grandma - cat, soft rubbery handbasket

Constable - billyclub

Lady Robot - square head with two bumps (eyes) on one side (the front), clockwork handle, angled back piece

I could do this in my sleep under water with the lights out in the dark anymore.

Thanks man.  Some things do seem pretty obvious, but it's good to have a full list like that as I'm not a big time smoosher.

No problem. Having the box or display showing all the characters aids a lot when searching as the biggest help is just having some kind of visual or mental image since you quite literally need to 'see' with your fingers. I certainly didn't learn this in a day and it took me a few series' to be able to do so comfortably as well as at a decent pace. I'd like everyone to find their special minifigure! :D

Another good tactic is to buy one, then take the insert sheet back in the store so you have a reference.

That's always a good visual tool. Besides, what's the possiblity of getting a repeat with buying one? ;)

Has anyone come across any info on the distribution of minfigs within a (sealed)case.  I've seen the break down of the character count, mostly happy.

row 1                     2                         3

    yetti             elf                           grandma

   yetti              mountain climber   elf

   scarecrow    constable              gingerbread man

and so on down the (sealed)case

My closest TRU sold all their series 11 yesterday, now they don't have any for the release tomorrow.  I went in a 4 bags were left, glad I got the Pretzel Girl.

I called another and they were holding them until tomorrow, guess I'll be getting there early to hopefully get a few because they won't last long.

Okay, now I see what you are asking. Although each box contains the same number of each character, they seem to be randomly placed into it. I have not found a character placed in the exact same spot going from box to box. With Series 9 for example, I found a Roller Derby Girl towards the back of one box in the third row between an Alien Avenger and Waiter while in another she was in the second row at the front after a Plumber. It's like they make sure to pack a certain amount of each minifigure but not care in what order they do so.

Thanks that helps a lot.  I guess opening just to verify won't bring down the price when selling.  Now I just have to wait and see if the case arrives.

To add upon this, perhaps an image showing all the parts which are included for each character can help everyone better.

Well, that's all the included parts for each one. I'm hoping this will give a much better visual image of what to look for.

I just used the pictures on the sides of the box as I was feeling each one. Worked a treat.

Also there are a couple of apps - one of which is a feel guide.

Wow the diner waitress comes with a lot of pieces!

Had target pull the endcap 120 box out for me to get them for my son

After groping some 2/3 of them I left with what I thought was a set and a few extras

Ended up missing the sax man. I have an extra scarecrow so I assume I confused the hats.

Not bad though getting all but 1 and 35 minutes of time
