Besides sounding like something missed in translation, there are only 15 minifigures listed instead of the standard 16.

The source of this list is the same for Series 9 & 10 so I'm very sure of the accuracy to it. At least the one in the main post anyway, and the most that may happen is the names change but the characters will stay the same.

That would be neat but I heard a slight rumor that the Constable could be a Policewoman.

Agreed. I wonder what type of instrument the musician will come with? A saxophone, trombone, or trumpet would be cool in my opinion.

Battle Mech, Scientist, Yeti, Lady Robot, and Welder.
 
I love it; the Yeti looks similiar to the one from those old stop-motion Rudolph specials, and now we have the female equivalent of Clockwork Robot of which I never would have seen coming honestly but am pleansantly surprised as is with the Scientist. The Battle Mech is pretty dang sweet with its Blacktron esque color scheme and the Wielder is a welcome addittion to the increasing list of professions perfect for any cityscape.

They come out so quick and I just can't keep up! And I think it would be pretty interesting if they did an entire series with a holiday theme. Thoughts?

As long as he looks like Kenny *** I don't care what the instrument is.  The sax man of youtube (Silent Whisper in random places) fame wouldn't be a bad way to go either.

If its a jazz musician it probably won't come with an instrument, instead it will have a bag of dope and its teeth will be all rotted out.

Looks good so far.  Not sure how I feel about the female equivalent of my favourite minifigure the Clockwork Robot, guess I kind of like it.

I was somewhat taken back from the Lady Robot but as with all the others I was initially unsure about, I have a feeling I will like it after opening up that mystery bag and holding it for myself. Oh, and a BIG thank you for finding a way better image than the one I had earlier! THANK YOU!

Dude that yeti is so freaking cool. I really like his head sculpt. And the welder, scientist, and evil mech are all on my must have list. You know, every time a new series is revealed, I get excited about 3 or 4. Then I buy all of them :)

Don't come near my part of Texas if you want a Welder minifig. At the scale I work with in my mobile frame builds, there's literally 1001 x a million things I can do with those welding tubes + the printed 1x1 round brick + the welding mask! AHHHHH!
